Sfmm 4/13

A year and a day after Scream! opened last year, a whole bunch of us headed out to a full day at the Mountain. Had a blast. At park from 10am to 8pm (full day).

The rides we hit in order-

Goliath: 2 train operation (5-8 minute wait)
Colossus: 1 train, 1 side operation (8-10 minute wait)
Batman The Ride: 1 train operation (15-20 minute wait)
The Riddler's Revenge: 1 train operation (1 hour, 40 minute wait)
Arrowhead Splashdown: (10-15 minute wait)
Gold Rusher: 1 train operation (5-8 minute wait)
Scream!: 2 train operation (8 minute wait)
Tidal Wave: (No wait)
Psyclone: 1 train operation (5 minute wait)
Orient Express
Revolution: 2 train operation (No wait)
Log Jammer: (15 minute wait)
Scream!: 2 train operation (10-15 minute wait)
Viper: 1 train operation (15-20 minute wait)

Did not ride-
Ninja: 1 train operation
Deja Vu: (1 hour wait)
X: 1 train operation (4 hour wait)

Closed-
Superman The Escape
Flashback
Metro
Sky Tower

More later.

Its good to hear that most coasters were running and that many had short lines. But why do so many coasters run only 1 train? Especially Goliath, Riddlers Revenge and X? X, I can understand because of the complexity of the ride/trains but it surprises me that people will still wait 4 hours for a coaster going into its third year. Now for Goliath and Riddlers Revenge, they're both designed to ude 3 trains, correct? So are they only using 1? Is there problems with the other trains? Its a shame that RR has to have a wait that long. Although the 1 train operation didn't seem to affect Goliath that bad. Don't take what I'm saying as bashing, I'm just curious if anyone happens to know what's going on. Nice to also hear that Deja Vu is running there and that the line wasn't too long.

I am really surprised Riddler was running with only one train. It was very uncrowded last time I went and they were running two trains then. The ride was a walk on. I didn't wait as long for X (45 minute wait) as you did Riddler. However, they were running two trains on X at the time.

Last Sepetember, when I went to MM, X had a supposed 4 hour wait. It only took like 45 minutes so what ever they say the wait is divide that by 2 and that is how long it really is.

For the rest of the trip, it sounds great and kind of like MM is sortof trying to make the guests happy for once.

Looks athough Riddlers Revenge still has a beefy line and gets crowds.

I remember waiting 2 hours for Goliath during the first week it opened. Consider yourself lucky for getting a 5 to 8 minute wait!

Superman is allways closed, not surprised by that.

Glad you had a nice time! Thanks for the details.

/\ That was the first time I've visited the park when the ride was closed. And I've been visiting the park on a continual basis since '02.

I hope they work out everything with that ride though.
