Smile Possible Vegas Vacation

I might be going to Las Vegas in 2 or 3 months, mostly to gamble, drink and sin but while I'm there, I have to get some coaster riding in. So if anyone has been there, what do you recommend? I need any help on prices, discouts and such. How are lines for the rides and coasters usually? Any help on hotels or anything else will be greatly appreciated. If you think of anything else it would help to know, let me know.

Thanks in advance.

If you want to have back problems; then be sure to ride M.E.

Be sure you buy a pass on speed (unlim. rides all day, speed is DEFINATELY worth it, best ride in the city.)

Go ride the Big Shot, it's a one of a kind experience. I'd skip the coaster up there and the new ride. After the big shot, you probably won't want to ride them.

Go to the adventure dome as well. Buy tickets for the coaster, and if you have never been on an inverter, buy one too. Those have to be my favorite flat rides.

Just be sure to get a rent-a-car if you can. We did that and it was much better than walking back and fowarth across the city.

BTW, have you decided where are you staying? If you need some suggestions; try mandalay bay if you wanna lay out by the pool for a bit. Some hotels in vegas are getting really run down/digusting (More towards the other end of the strip, as in the stratosphere, sahara area.)

No, nothing yet has been figured. My friend just mentioned it to me last week. We've all talk about going for a while so we might finally do it. Nothing has been planned yet, we haven't even gotten to the planning state yet. I'll probably try to ride all the coasters just to add to my count. I just thought I put this thread up now so I can get as much info as possible since I'm not very familiar with the area at all. Thanks for the help :-) also any other help on other aspects of Las Vegas too. I'm not too worried about having a glitzy hotel or anything like that. Something cheap will do because much of the time will be spent away from the hotel/motel anyway. So if anyone knows any good deals there, thanks.

I went to Vegas in September and it was awesome. As far as cheap hotels im not sure, we stayed at the mgm grand...they have an awesome pool area and a lazy river...we rented a cabana and it was so much fun....

Rollercoasters...

Manhatten Express was fun but really bumpy and was the most expensive for just one ride. It was fun cause i had never been on it before but after the drop and the loops the bunny hops and crap at the end are not needed....The line was actually kinda long the night we first went...i think a friday night..but didnt get on cause someone passed out...the next morning(saturday) it was dead...

Circus Circus...cant think of the coasters name....it was a good ride and was fun cause i had never been an indoor rollercoaster..except Skull Mountain..no wait at all...i think i went on a monday

Speed(Monday)...can you say awesome!!!....and the best deal...its like 10(i think) for as many rides as you want...i went on 10 times in a about 20-30 minutes cause there was no line. The front in the best seat and you go so far up the spike....dont miss this one....i took the bus all the way down to the end where sharah is and walked back to mgm...its a long walk but you see everything....

hope that helps.

Circus Circus' ride is Canyon Blaster. Speed I believe was $20 for an all day unlimited ride pass.
