I just found out that my parents are planning a suprise Cedar Point trip sometime this Summer . So... since ive never been there and some of you have, what should I do in what order and what to expect?

Expect big coasters (very big coasters), alot of rides, good food, and friendly employees.

I personally would stay in a CP hotel. If you stay at one of their hotels you may enter the park thirty minutes before the rest of the GP. Head straight for TTD and sit in the front row! That is very important. I know it is tempting to pick any seat to get on the right away but you MUST wait for the front, no matter how long the wait is!

Coasters NOT to miss:

*Top Thrill Dragster
*Milennium Force
*Magnum XL200
*Wicked Twister
*Raptor
*Gemini (IMO)

^Those coasters should be first on your list. Everything else is awesome but not as good as the ones listed.

Don't count on TTD handstamps as they weren't offered last year. If TTD runs like a champ, then the stamps might be available this year.

Find a cheap hotel in the Sandusky area. The difference in hotel cost (cheap hotel vs CP hotel) exceeds the value of 30 min early entry.

Walk around the park and ride anything that appeals to you. If boosting your coaster count is significant to you, then ride Disaster Transport----otherwise don't waste your time.

I would ride it just to say that I did. It's not too bad of a ride though.

Every coaster at Cedar Point is amazing and uniqe. There all special in the same way, so make sure you ride all that you can and re-ride too! Before you know it, the vacation will be over, and you will be wishing you ride ____ one more time.
