Bgt/dw/ioa

I just booked my 7 day Disney cruise and i will be spending 3 days at disneyworld. I have choses to spend one day at DW and one day at BGT, and one day @ IOA. Just wondering if there were any really good discount tickets around for either of the parks except Disney and do any of them give half off for ACE menbers? Thanks for any help.

WOW!! You'll have an awesome time on the cruise. I just got back from the Disney cruise too. You'll love it. And that your going to three theme parks days before is awesome...lucky. As of the ACE thing, I have no clue, but I will check into it.

Thats right. I forgot you did the Disney cruise thing also. I just got all my information about the trip and was sad to hear Disney ships have no Casinos. Oh well i guess i'll save money. I'm not sure about BGT but i know IOA dosen't give half off to ACE members. Disney is free so i guess i only need discount info for BGT and IOA if i can get in cheaper than being in ACE.

Yeah, they have no casino's. It's more of a family type cruise, but there is still many things to do for adults with no family, and or kids coming.

AAA had a really good deal on 2+ day passes for IOA. Not sure about 1 day, maybe they will for that too.

Well i'm leaving for my Disney cruise/Vacation on wed aftrenoon. I'm so excited. Any last minute tips would be great.

I am still spending one day at Disney, one day at Busch Gardens & one day at Universal/IOA. How far is Universal between Disney? Can i walk to the park. I would take a shuttle but if it's only like a 20 min walk and there's alot to look at them i might just walk but maybe not since it will be like 8am.

Also is there any type of free transportation to Busch Gardens. We are renting a car but my family will be useing it so if i can find some free/cheap transoprt to BGT that would be great. I'm affraid a taxi would be pretty high.

Last if anyone has any last min tips or know where i can get discount tickets for Universal & Busch Gardens that would be great. I know someone mentiond the 2 days pass but does anyone know if there is anything for 1 day.

Thanks in advance for any help guys. Should be a fun trip.

When I went in 2001 you could go to AAA's offices and get discount tickets (for IOA, US) if you're a member.

Although I think for IOA they only had 2 day park hoppers and not 1 day tickets.

I seriously doubt you want to walk between WDW and Universal. There at least 15 miles apart down I-4 through Florida swamps. A taxi between the two isn't a bad option. You can be extra sneaky and take the free Disney shuttle to Downtown Disney (go to the marketplace side) and then walk down to Hotel Row (you'll see a bunch of high rise hotels) and get onto one of the hotel's Universal Studios shuttles for free.

As for getting to BGT:

"Shuttle bus service to Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay is ONLY $5.00 ROUND TRIP and is Free for Orlando FlexTicket holders (all other tickets require the $5 payment, price subject to change without notice.) Reservations can be made at Busch Gardens Shuttle Express or by calling toll-free from the U.S.A. 1(800)221-1339 "

Its a bus that can pick you up at Universal at 8am (and various areas on Idrive) and bring you back. Its actually a nice bus with animal skins painted on it. BGT is a good 80+ miles from Orlando area.

Your planning on going to 3 (7 literally) parks in 3 days.
Your gonna be one busy person. Just spend the days in Orlando and wait for Sheirka at BGT. Unless you were dying to go there.

As for one day discounts. They come rarely, very rarely around Florida. And if they do, they are only for Florida residents. I know what you mean, cause I used to snatch coke/pepsi cans for buy one/get one free for CP, Six flags, etc.. But these money hungry idiots in FLA are a killer. For $119 you can get a Busch Gardens and Seaworld annual pass. for $90 something you can get 2 days at IOA/USF. i'm going to seaworld now to get an annual pass for BGT/SWO for $11 a month for 12 months.

If you have any questions, let me know. I've been in Florida (Orlando/Daytona Beach Areas) for 6 years now and been to ALL the parks and attrations (and tourist traps) except Animal Kingdom. Have a fun trip!

Thanks alot man, great tips.

Not 100% sure about BGT yet. I might just spend 2 days at Universal & IOA and skip BGT until next year. I'll just have to see how my money goes when i get there.

I am dying to ride Gwazi & Montu. Thats the main reason for going but that can always wait till next year.

In case i chose not to go to BGT how much is a 2 day Hopper pass for Universal?

I would wait for BGT till next year or whenever you could go again to ride Sheikra. It will definetly be worth the wait.

Yeah, waiting till next year, when Skeikra is open, is a good idea.

Also, 2 days at IOA & USF is also probably a good idea. For both parks, theres kind of alot to do. When I went I was there for 5 days (5 day passes), and we found that after about three days, it got kind of boring, and we had gotten on everything in about two days, for both parks.

Oh, and Franchise..seriously stop posting *****, because no one cares.

Yeah wait for BGT next time. IOA and WDW will distract you enough. Granted Gwazi, Montu, and Kumba are great rides, probably the best of Florida, you'll get plenty out of Hulk, Rev of Mummy, DD, RnRC,, etc..

As for the 2 day pass at USF/IOA, it was $95 last time I was there a few weeks ago. For some reason I always look at the ticket gates when I go in to justify myself spending $170 for an annual pass. Boils down to 46.7 cents a day. Sounds very cheap that way.

Your going to spend $100 whether you go 2 day or flex it. I personally looked around tonight on I drive (was there for Seaworld) actually looking for USF/IOA deals cause I read this post before I left earlier today. The best I can come up with is $20 if you go look at timeshares for a couple of hours, but thats a scam and a half. USF/IOA (and WDW/BGT/SWO) aren't really one/2 day friendly on the wallet places. They figure people in your position are going to spend the $50+ a day, and people like me with annual passes are going to spend $ in the park.

Look at universalorlando.com and see what tickets you can buy and print out at home and go straight to the gates and bypass the ticket booth. If WDW is included in your package. did you get a park hopper pass with it? I'd easily spend most of my time there, unless your sick of it. If it wasn't for Revenge of the Mummy, USF would be worthless to a coaster enthusiats, so you end up having to spend 2 days there, unless you figure out how to hop the two parks on one ticket.

Like someone said, if you have AAA (or someone you know can buy them for you), check at your local office see if they have any deals. other than that, If I see anything, I'll let you know.

Thanks alot everyone. Your all right, i'll just wait till next year to go to BGT so i guess i'll spend a day at WDW and get the 2 day pass for US/IOA unless i can do everything at US/IOA in one day then i'll spend 2 days at Disney. I'll look into the AAA thing again.

I'm really excited about finally riding Hulk,Mummy & DD.

Thanks again guys and keep the tips coming like what should i ride first at IOA & WDW or if it even matters what i ride first. Basically what coaster has the longest lines all day?

Also what would the crowds be like being early Nov and school is in?
