WA or to go to PC....

when i first started to set up my GA coaster trip i was to go to...
SFOG AA LW and... WA or PC... and well i had to drop a park to add a different one....
so now it will be.. 2 days at sfog 2 hours at AA... then i added going to SFWW with TN member Dekalb... i had to drop LW because i want to go to Stone Mt.(even if its not for coasters... i want to go....) but i still cant pick PC or WA
what park is better.. they both have the same number of coasters.. but WAs coasters seem lame.. but they have alot of flatrides i like. but PC has 2 beemers i want to ride.. and borg
so what park should i go to? PC or WA?because they are both about the same miles away....

Carowinds of course. If TG & Borg are worth the trip to PC if not anything else.

I would say PC. I am a "fanboy" somewhat, but i still think it would be better. PC has an atmosphere, and (from what i've seen on RCDB) WA doesn't look like it has much of an atmosphere. The rides at PC aren't themed much at all, but each one has a certain atmosphere about it, and it doesn't require much themeing. Plus, PC has a much larger number of adult-oriented coasters than WA. Plus, BORG is there and TG:TJC. I think both of those coasters would be enough to visit anytime. I have not ridden BORG, but from what I have seen, it looks awesome!! And TG is awesome, I have ridden it.

Just from looking at rcdb.com WA has mostly kiddie coasters. At least with PC 65% of the coasters are adult coasters. And it's 12 coasters, instead of 9 coasters at WA.

So bascially 9 adult coasters, versus 5 or so at WA.

So yeah, I'd pick PC, even if it wasn't my home park. You'll enjoy Borg, if you've never been on a Dutchman... but it's my favorite Dutchman too, I've ridden Batwing too.

Honestly, I recommend Carowinds. Wild Adventures has all stock coasters (save Cheetah), and Carowinds is actually more fun than I thought it would be. Top Gun, Ricochet, Scooby Doo Ghostblasters, Hurler (much better than PKD's) and Carolina Cyclone (surprisingly) are all very fun rides. Plus, I'm sure Borg Assimilator is a fun ride.

I think because it's reall the only really good themed flyer in the US. This coaster was crap while at PGA but ever since it's move it's has worked wonderfully. I guess PGA dosen't know how to take care of coasters or at least this one.

From what I've seen, they've gotten most of the bugs out of the trains as well. They have been running 2 trains for several weeks now. Which never happened at PGA.

Plus, honestly it's been 5 years since a major coaster was put in, so I'd be thankful with about anything. But the coaster is just a lot of fun. In many ways more fun than TG, because it's not nearly as fast, and you get more time to "enjoy the ride". TG is like a blur. lol

But if you've ridden another flying dutchman, it's pretty much the same thing, except for having corkscrews instead of inlines.

The theming is sparse though. The Borg Sphere is awesome, but honestly that's about all the theming there is. It's more than the other 2 Flying Dutchman's though.
