Sfkk Hw Kw Pki

Hey everyone, I'm planning a midwestern excursion to a few parks^ I was just wondering if I could ride all the coasters at PKI in one day? All the coasters at SFKK in like 5-6 hours and all the rides at KW in like 5-6 hours? Any other tips on the parks would be greatly appreciated.

Never been to KW but you should be able to get all coasters in at PKI. I remeber last june or july i went to PKI and rode every coaster 2 or 3 times in a full day. As for SFKK there should be no prob riding everything in 5 hours. I'm thinking maybe sooner. Just make sure it's a sunday or a weekday. The day i went to PKI and rode everything 2-3 times was a sunday. SFKK was a wed.

It's easy to hit everything at PKI in less than a day. I was able to hit every coaster, including SoB twice, TR:tr twice (not a coaster, but effin awesome), Beast three times, and wait in a 1.5hr line for Delerium, all before we left the park 3 hours before close.

What is KW? Did you mean HW? PKI is easy to ride EVERYTHING in the park in one day, Maybe everything twice, with the exception of delerium that always has a long wait, I suggest getting there early and make that the first thing you go to. SFKK is not worth spending 5 hours at unless you already have a SF season pass. Although 5 hours is plenty of time to ride the coasters, they don't have great thrill rides, but their coasters are decent if they are running, big if. If you will be close make sure to stop at HW they have 2 of the best woodies in the world as far as I am concerned. Also, the best themed rapids ride ever, in ragin rapids. Also one of the best water parks, with 3 top water rides. You will be surprised how much money you save at this park compared to others, even on food, good food!!! Make sure you get the pizza, and the fudge. Well have fun, again what is KW?

Every coaster in a day would be tough, You would have t be there at opening and stay until closing.

Thanks for all the info. I thought that there would be enough time for each park. KW is Kennywood. It's pretty far from the others. I might do Kennywood on a seperate trip.

It really depends on the day you are there, I got there at 11 and had every coaster and all the major rides done by 5 then rode a few others again, and at about 7 started on the water-thrill rides, and was up front watching the pyros at 9. So I did stay the whole day, but like I said it depends on the day and which rides you go on first. Knowing that the S.P's get there at about 1 and leave around 3 helps as well. I think I was there on a Tuesday. You should go to delerium first, or the action zone as a whole very first. Or if this is a big trip you could always get a fake cast and a wheelchair, have yourself a hayday, but that would be wrong, now would'nt it.

It's not far from the others if you're driving from South Jersey on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, it's right along the way. In fact, it would break up a long drive from Joisey to PKI. It'd be a mistake to skip out on Kennywood. I'd leave an entire day for Kennywood, it's definitely a place that is a good night park. Kennywood is a fun place at night. Not to mention, many of the smaller rides at Kennywood are fun (not intense, but just fun)...and those small rides (most of which you won't find anywhere else) is what makes Kennywood what it is.

Avoid PKI and Kennywood on Saturdays. Holiday World can be done in a hour or two, unless you like waterparks...and they have a fun one that I recommend. SFKK is also a park that you can easily hit in a few hours.

Try not to go to PKI on Saturdays. I know it was a holiday weekend, but the park was extremely busy. My daughter and I were there for about 3 hours but got on only 5 rides: SoB, Top Gun, Racer, Vortex and the Beast. Try to go on Weekdays such as Thursday. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the least busiest day at PKI. Try to hit all the Action Zone rides first in the morning: SoB, Face/Off, Delirium, Top Gun, and Drop Zone.

That was one of our ideas, to do Kennywood during the same trip. BTW, how is HW's waterpark?

The lines at PKI aren't bad except for on holidays (esp. 4th of July weekend), weekends, and Bring a Friend Free days. The longest I've seen a line for at Delirium- yet, anyway- was an hour and a half, and the line always looks longer than it really is. That goes with a couple rides, also.

Once it was so busy, we had a massive line for Slingshot- something that usually never happens, esp at $20 a ticket.

Weekdays (like was said before by rustbelt) are usually the best time to come, if possible. I worked Tuesday, and we had a 15 minute (tops) line at Delirium.

As I said, it's a lot of fun. It's free with HW admission, so an hour or two in Splashin' Safari is a must...especially if it's hot out! Zonga and Zoombabwe are excellent slids.

There are awesome slides all over Splashin Safari. Last year it claimed a lot of firsts, not sure if Zinga (funnel slide) was the first but it is the best. Zoombabwe is the largest, and longest enclosed waterslide in America, possibly the world. Then they have ottorongo which are three seperate enclosed black out water slides, you cannot see anything except for tiny holes letting heat escape. New this year is Jungle Racer the first 10-lane racing complex ever built and Jungle Jets which has 163 different water "elements." They also have a wave machine, lazy river, treehouse, and about 5 other excellent slides, Watubee always creeps me out some points make it look like you are going to fly right off the side. Anyway, have fun, the park is worth at LEAST a full day, the Rave is the best coaster ever at night.

My parents just asked me what I thought of an alternate trip. Only one of these parks this summer, and in December, SFMM and KBF. I really like this idea, but I'm not very patient, and I can't decide between PKI and HW.
