That's funny, I'm doing almost the same trip, the same time.

Sunday BGW
Monday WCUSA, drive to Carrowinds
Tuesday PC, drive to SFOG
Wednesday SFOG
Thursday SFWW drive to Dollywood
Friday DW
Saturday, drive home to NJ

My tips to you (as a former Atlantan), Stone Mtn is OK...do the hike up the back. The laser show is pretty good if you can stay for that. It won't take you a whole day. SFOG is a whole day, get a Qbot if it's busy. SFWW is awesome...one of the best water parks in the country. Figure you'll spend almost a whole day there too. AA is all kiddie rides, so there'll be nothing for you to do there.

AT SFOG, the MUST RIDES are MindBender, GASM, GA Cyclone, GA Scorcher, SUF, Deja Vu, and Acrophobia. You should be able to ride everything in the park even without a Qbot, but if you get a Qbot you'll be able to get multiple rides on everything. I'd say skip BTR (if you've done the one at SFGAdv, it's identical except for a large queue house), and if you miss out on Ninja, you're not missing much. Dahlonega Mine train is OK, but rough.

There are no coasters at Carowinds worth skipping just for the fact that if you go on a weekday or weekend you can pretty much ride everything in half a day that includes takeinf the time to watch the park 3 wonderfull shows.

Expect it to be HOT. Drink lots and lots of water. SFOG is very hilly. You probably knew all that anyway but just a reminder. Definitely do not miss out on Mindbender. It's still the best coaster at the park in my opinion. It usually doesn't have a very long wait. Oh also, there are Six Flags $10 off discounts on Icee cups at Exxon Tiger Marts.

Also, you can get a very good discount if you go to Wendy's and get a value meal. I believe the Six Flags promotion is going on.

Carowinds passes pay for themselves in 2 visits. $90.00 for a SP and Entry is $43.00. also don't forget the $8 parking.

As far as i know Carowinds has no 2-day passes.

Nope, sorry there's nothing but woods & rest stops between SFoG & Carowinds.

If you really want to ride that coaster it is located at Concord Mills Mall about 30-45min north of Carowinds. The mall gets so crawded and you will be driving around for 30 min before you find a parking spot. I woulden't reccomend going to shop let alone for that tine little coaster.

Yes, Jeepers is a small amusement park inside the mega mall. Echoing Carowinds 73-03 comments, Concord Mills (or any of those "Mills" branded malls) are death traps. Nothing but hoards of screaming kids and frantic 50-something age women.

Python Pit is one of those tiny coasters like the one at SFA

Oh, and you do know SFoG in August is about the closest thing to hell on Earth, right? It's always so stinking hot that time of year. It makes for a miserable day. Or a great day for the drink sellers.
