I got to the park right around 1 pm. My associates wanted to move up the meeting to 4:30 pm, so I only had 3 hours. ALso, the parking was $12.00. That was expensive!

Oh well. I guess they can really get you there.
I noticed Georgia Cyclone from the parking lot. This ride was near the front, so I headed over there first.
Georgia Cyclone (7/10): This woody was a clone of CI Cyclone hence the name. After about 10 minutes wait, I got on 4:2. There were some decent airtime after the second turn around. The ride was rather shaky and some areas did not track well at all.
I noticed that Acrophobia is closed! ALso, Deja Vu looked like it was not running either.

Well, I decided then to go for all the coasters.
Dahlonega Mine Train (6/10): This was a mine ride with THREE lift hills. Interesting layout with a tunnel ending was pretty satisfying.
Well, I decided to head over to the back of the park for three coaster rides. Since it was on the way, I got on Ninja.
Ninja (6/10): This Vekoma looper looked better than the ride itself. After a good first drop, the ride all of sudden started to track rather hard. There were some rough transitions during the second half of the ride.
Superman Ultimate Flight (9/10): I thought this was the best coaster in the park. Then again, this was my first flier so that I could have been overly impressed with this. Even with slow loading, I was able to get on to the trains in 30 minutes. I loved the pretzel (?) run near the camera. I need to ride more fliers for comparison, but this had a positive impression on me.
Great American Scream Machine (8/10): These old woodies almost always provide good airtime. This was no exception. In fact, I liked this one more than Georgia Cyclone. This down and out woody was quite enjoyable.
I had 5 coasters in the books by 2:30 pm. I knew by now that I was going to be able to get on all the coasters. I headed toward the Gotham City area. I noticed that Deja Vu was still closed. This was second time I missed out on Deja Vu. This coaster was not open during my trip to SFMM in February.
Batman the Ride (8/10): I LOVE inverted coasters. This was quite good as well although not as good as Raptor or Montu. I was not sure if this was an exact clone of Batman at SFMM. (Does anyone know?) It felt like they are identical. I did not really like the entrance que for the ride however. I waited about 15 minutes for the ride. They were long and enclosed parts were stuffy and uncomfortable.
Mind Bender was right next to Batman so I went over there.
Mind Bender (8/10): Now this one was better than I expected. I loved the hanging effect at the top of the lift hill. Interestingly, SF literature claimed 3 inversions but there were only two. May be the banked turn around was counted as one. This felt like a terrain coaster. This was much more enjoyable than Ninja.
Well, I headed over to Georgia Scorcher.
Georgia Scorcher (7/10): While I am not a fan of stand up coasters, I really liked Riddler's Revenge. GS did not quite lived up to RR but I liked this one more so than Mantis at Cedar Point. The wait was only about 5 minutes. It seemed that many people were afraid to ride this one.
I headed over to Georgia Cyclone again to end the day. I thought maybe I got a bad first ride on this. Well, my second ride was worse than the first. I ride SoB at PKI often. GS tracked far worse than any SoB ride I have ever had.
It was close to 4 pm. I decided to head over to the meeting in Atlanta. I enjoyed the park, but I thought there was something missing. The park was relatively clean and not overly busy. It seemed like ride operators did not really want to interact with guests. I usually see some interactions but I did not see to many here. I thought this was somewhat odd. Anyway, I wished I had more time here but was satisfied with my trip.
