SFFT 6/7/04 Rain

Alright. My friend called me up around 9:45 am. Asking me if i wanted to go to SFFT with him, his mom and our two friends. Of course i said yes. So i was expecting to leave my house at 10:30 cause he only lives like 20 minutes away but he needed to do some things first. Ok so i wait and wait. Then i wait some more. Then i call him a couple of times and he still at his house. So they finally came around 12:00. That sucks, he said they were ordering a Dell computer online and running some other arrands. So that sucked bad. So i we get into the park around 1:00 Of course we wanted to hit SKC so we did. The park has been open for already 3 hours. SKC was a walk on. What the hell, it was crazy. Since everyone was waiting in the front we deciede to take the second to last seat. So we did rode it, had a good time, looked at the mall they were building on top of the quarry. So we get back in line again. Then i said man we are gonna ride this ride 30 times. Since it was a walk on easily. We all started to laugh. This time we waited a little longer to ride in the front. The front is awesome. (The front right side of the coaster that is.) After SKC we decided to hit Poltergeist. Guess what it was another walk on/5 minute wait depending on where you sat. It was awesome. I thought this was going to be the best day at the park ever. I rode the front. Man it was a blast. 0-60 in like 4 seconds. Whoooooo Hooooooo. I know it aint like TTD, but he the experience is cool. Next we wanted to hit the water park since it was a hot day. Kinda bout 90. We all said we wanted to rdie the new Tornado ride. But since it had a long line we passed it up. We rode some tube ride that was pretty fun. One bad thing one of my friends could not ride it cause he had a zipper on his shorts. Kinda sucky but hey it was ok. By now it is 3:00 and he are suppose to meet up with my friends mom at the front gate. So we meet there and talk. So are plans now are to meet up at 7:30 then we will go home. Now we head towards the Rattler. To get a little on the Bummpy side. OUCH. This ride hurts. I rode it in the back. LOL. Stupid me. Now we head towards the Gully Washer. It is a water ride. It was fun. By now this is the badest part. RAIN. That's right RAIN. Boy this sucks. Since clouds started to move in we were suppose to meet his mom at the front if it started to rain. So we did. It was lighting and all. So we waited out in the front UNDER A TREE. LOL. Smart thing HUH. We didn't know better until his mom called us stupid for doing that. So we headed back to their car to wait for the rain to pass. 15 minutes later it stoped. So we headed back into the park. We wanted to go to the water park again but it was closed. No we headed to the Boardwalk area of the park. To try Scooby Doo Ghost-Blasters. It was fun. Of course i won i had 1,520points. Now we wanted to ride The Frisbee. But then we saw that they were opening up the Poltergeist so we ran over there. Well folks they were only testing it. So now we saw that they were running SKC. Folks yes again they were testing it. But then they finnally let people on SKC so we ran all the way up there. One train went by and the ride got stucked that sucked. Plus they had to close the ride again because of the weather. THIS SUCKS BY FAR. Now we headed back to the front of the park, cause of the rain. We stoped by the Water Park to see if any thing was opened. NOPE. Then we got into the car and left. It was an Ok Day at SFFT. Well mostly all we did was walk the park today.

I think this is all.
SKC-2
Poltergiest-1
Rattler-1
Scooby Doo Ghost Blaster-1
Some water ride- 1
Gully Washer-1

I just went to Fiesta Texas for the first time on June 7th, and what a disappointment. Not the park, the weather. I wanted nothing more than to marathon on SKC but due to moody thunderclouds the rides kept shutting down. To top it off, I got on the Huss TopSpin and it broke down midride and left me stranded in the air.

Yes, suprisingly most rides were walk-ons. I was going super fast at Scooby and i got my line down to nobody... and we didn't have anybody for about 5 minutes. Which was weird, we always have lines out the door on that ride. But anywho, yeah the weather sucked. Not while i was there though, i clocked out a little after 4 and right when i was signed out it started raining. It made me mad because i like working in the rain, but i was scheduled to leave at four and even after me we still had like 5 extras, so they didn't need me to stay, oh well. Come back soon when the weather's good, its a great park.

It's too bad that it rained on your day and kept you from doing the ride marathons you wanted to do. At least it's your homepark, sfft_2108, so you can always get there again without it being too long of a wait to be back.

That's true. But to me SFFT is getting a little to old for me. Maybe i need to go to SFAW or SFOT to see some other coasters. Or SFFT just needs a new coaster to top it off. All the Roller Coasters get boring and that stuff. It is still a great park. But they really need a BIG BANG to boost things up.

Sorry bud, but SFAW aint gonna make your coaster thirst any better. It'll just make you throw up. And to think, i used to get mad at people when they bashed SFAW, but after going there recently, MAN that park has gone down the drain... and in all honesty, if SFOT doesn't get some paint pretty soon, its gonna go on my poopy list too.

All, I need is just to ride some different coasters. Even if they suck who cares. I just want to experience some other coasters than the ones at SFFT.

It's funny you should say that because my inside sources tell me that is the name of their next coaster. BIG BANG-The Ride
