KBF Dec 26-28

Ok, most people already know, I'm going to be at the park one of those days, so I got 2 questions:

1. Which of those days will be the best to go, considering traffic from San Diego, and crowds at the park?

2. What is the best way to avoid crowds inside the park?

1. I have no idea.

2. I will see you there.

3. Silvet Bullet, Xcelerator, Monty, and Ghostrider will be pwnage.

4. I would say the best day to go is Wednesday, but with your schedule, go on Tuesday the 28th.

5. I will see you there.

6. That is all.

Uh. All this talk about crowds is so silly. You silly rabbit boy. Crowds are for the summer season. We're talking winter here. It's not like the park will be desserted, but you're not going to wait in line for any ride more than 10 minutes in December - at most. Well, maybe excluding GhostRider if it runs one train - and I'll assume Silver Bullet as well as it would have just been the newly opened ride in the area.

You should find some loose crowds, nothing too serious.

That's reassuring. And I assume that San Diego barely causes any traffic problems on the way there either. I might go on Wednsday, because I forget when my plane ticket is for, 29, or 30. Willski, will you be there all of those days? That's cool. Like usual, I will be wearing a black Alpengeist t-shirt or a blue GAdv 2000 t-shirt.

^ You like that black Alpengeist shirt huh?

Have fun on your trip. I wouldn't expect crowds to be bad in the offseason. As said before 10 min. waits at most for some rides. Of course I can't say much beacuse I've never visited the park.

But is it really off season? I thought Disney was the place to go during Winter vacation. Otherwise, Yipee. BTW, I only have 2 roller coaster t shirts, and I find it would make it known that I'm an enthusiast if I wore one.

Another very important question, what is there to do for seniors? I would want to be there from about 12 to, or just early enough for me to get some night rides. My grandma knows about the marketplace, for anyone who's been there, how long is a day there? I'd feel bad to keep her in a mall for an entire day, like I've unfortunately been doing to my mom when she took me to Dorney two months ago and GAdv last year. I want to make sure that my grandma can get me to the park, and not get bored of the marketplace. And if she will get bored, is there anything else that she would enjoy to do within walking distance from the park?

There's plenty of stuff for the elderly to do at Knott's, after all, the place did originally start out as a place for mid-aged/elderly people to visit - what with Cordelia Knott's chicken dinners, the stagecoach, arts and crafts, historic buildings, and can-can dancers. Even some rides are suitable for older visitors. Calico Mine Ride, Butterfield Stagecoach, Ghost Town & Calico Railroad and Kingdom of the Dinosaurs are a few - although I do not recommend Kingdom of the Dinosaurs.

Why don't you recommend that?^^^

Well, I have the feeling she wants to be outside of the park, because she knows of the marketplace but I don't think she will want to just stay in an enlarged gift shop from 12-8.

I will be there Monday the 20th and Wednesday the 29th. I will also be at SFMM on the 21st and the 22nd. I'll wear a white CP, red BGW shirt, or some coaster shirt and khaki shorts. I'm 5'10" with blonde hair and umm........oh yeah, I'm a guy.

Yea, I'm like 5'1", brown hair, male, alpengeist shirt, 27th or 28th.

I can't imagine needing more than one day at a small park like that, we could probly ride each coaster at least twice in one day, right?
