Exclamation Help!!!!!

I can't decide on what park to go to, gadv or cedar point. I have been to both parks but this year i can only go to one. I have awsome memorys of cedar point and they have ttd which is almost the same thing as ttd but gadv has something taller and faster with the same layout. I have been to cedar point last summer but i haven't been to gadv in 3-4 years. Last year i had a blast at cedar point last year though so it would be tough choosing gadv over cp but Id like to go back to gadv also, So please help.

If you love CP then you can go their. But since you haven't been to SFGadv in a while, then just go their. Of corse CP is getting their new flat, and SFGadv is getting KK. I really cant say alot about CP because I have never been their. And I would love to go. But if you do choose to go to SFGadv, then try to go in may, early june if nessary. Thats where the least amount of crowds are at that time.

But you see I am also looking for a place that will make me feel far away from home. Will gadv give it?

Its really what you like as in taste. Im going to guess that CP is farther then SFGadv. Of corse foe some reason I love SFGadv even though I work their. I find it awkard.
Anyway, I would say go to SFGadv if you haven't been their in a while. You can ride KK and experence everything again.
As for the place to make you feel far away from home, I cant really say since I live so close. Hopefully someone else can help you with that.

Well, I'd go to GAdv if I were you, because it's been a while. In my place, I'd say CP because it'sa new place. Go wherever you're not familiar with, then you will feel further away from home.

Go to Gadv And Ride Kingda and such, but like Meowcoaster I think you should go to the place you arent the most familiar with.

Agreed....and as far as feeling far from home. If you dont travel, have to think about, or live near the New Jersey Turnpike...believe me (I didnt have to) Great Adventure will feel like you are in a different country if you dont stay like right close to the park. Seriously, it was only about a 10 hour drive for me, but those 30 miles on the Turnpike, well it was plain torture. Torture I tell you.

However, so many things can change over the course of a couple of years that I would say go where your heart leads you, but Great Adventure is my vote for you. If you had not been to 6FGA last year and not CP, then I would be plugging CP.

Enjoy wherever you decide to go.

When are you going? That's my question. IF you are going in the summer, go to SFGADV becasue of Kingda Ka. I think a taller and faster coastter than TTD beats a flat ride.

Trust me when I say but the summer is not the best time to go. It gets mobbed. May would be the best time. Because their is still school and they should get KK working by then. In April, not all of the rids are open because of weather/staff reasons. I said weather, yes. Because it can get cold and windy at the same time. Which makes it really cold here. And frostbite factors can come in. But the rides usually start to open up throughout the day.

If you really have to, then go during the summer. Just dont go near the end. I found it more corwded then it was during the summer. And if you do go, try to go when their are no concerts. Its more crowded when their are.

Ok. Since we get out of school in the middle of June,(thats with no snow days) It wont be that crowded. Now the park goes with the jackson school district schedule. I dont know when the park opens this year, but its only open of weekends(except for the end of april when they have spring break). So the park is open on the weekends only untill june. I can let you know later when the park is open. When I find out when I have to work and so forth.

What I would say is go in the morining(the park opens at 10) and spend the day their. My advice is to bring your own lunch in a cooler. Because it is soooo expensive to eat their. Trust me. Now, its $48.75 for anyone over the height of 54". Any on below is $31.79. Children under 3 are free. I would advise you to go to the burger king or mcdonnelds and get some coupons. If their $10 off, then the reghular admission price will reduce to $31.15 per adult admission.

The gates open at or around 9:45. So you can browse for 15 minutes untill they let everyone go to a dash for KK. If you dont know the park well, you can pick up a map on the inside of the park just outside of Guest Relations.

Note* Im not shure when the park closes. It varies on weather, and the day.
The ticket prices are set up that way to make it more fair. If you are above 54", you can ride any ride in the park, because it is the highest requirment.
If you need to know anything, just pm me, im shure I can give you whatever information you need. Like what to do, as in what rides to go on, when and the best times to eat.
