I'm planning a east coast road trip

I've started to plan my summer road trip and I have already picked the parks that I want to go to. However, I would like to have some recommendations on Hotels around the parks since I have never been to any of the parks. I plan to take the road trip May 29 - June 10 but two of the days will be spent driving. When do schools get out for summer break in the states that I'm going to?

Here is the list of parks that I'm going to in order:

Kennywood
Hershey Park
Knoebels
Dorney Park
Six Flags Great Adventure
Clementon Amusement Park
SFA
PKD
BGW

I know that I can get a Gold Qbot at SFGAV but do any of the other parks that I'm going to offer Fast passes? I've talked to someone that stayed at Freehold Gardens when they went to SFGAV is that hotel any good? Since some of you have been to these parks how many days do I need at each one?

Well, it looks like you've got NJ, PA, MD, and VA. NJ and PA get out mid-late June.

1 day at most of these parks, and if you plan correctly, you can hit all rides. Basically, that means go to GADV and PKD on the most un crowded days (mon, tues, wedns) and got to parks like Clemonton on weekend. I don't understand how Kennywood comes into play here though.

Yea but SFGadv goes with the jackson school district because thats where alot of their younger employees go like me. So its only open of the weekends basically untill school gets out.

No, it doesn't get crowded until mid-may or so. During June, you can go during the weekdays.

Just remember the #1 rule when going to GADV: ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE OPENING!!!! That means you can run to KK, get 1 or 2 rides in, then go on the other rides with virtually no waits until 1pm-2pm or so.

No SFGadv isnt always crowded. Its starts to get crowded around 12ish. Its opens during the week near the end of May. I would arrive a half hour before opening. Because you have to park, the buy your ticket.
Edit: v I fixed it. I did mean May.

great list. thats definitely the way to go. Only change I would make is go to kennywood first then knoebels cause you cross the state on 80. then go to dorney, hershey, gadv, and everything else for it is a better order geography wise.

I have changed my trip a little bit so this is the new list.

Kennywood 05/29
Knoebels 05/30

DorneyPark 05/31
HersheyPark 06/1
Six Flags Great Adventure 06/2
SFA 06/3
PKD 06/4
BGW 06/5

PCW 06/7

If I buy a PKD season pass, can I use it at PCW? Can you get fast passes at any of the parks if you stay in a special hotel or buy a special ticket?

Woah dude, thats ALOT of driving. You wont be able to stay at the parks very long when you think about it. You'd have to leave early enough to get to the next loaction.

The driving will not be that bad since my mom will be doing most of the driving. In addition, she will be resting during the day while I am the park so that she will have energy to drive when I leave the park. I didn't want to do the trip with my mom but that it the only person I can think of that is willing to miss all of the coasters.

I was planning a similar trip this spring ( Hershey -Dorney -SFGA-SFA-PKD-BGW) from what I've noticed from minor planning so far wouldn't it be easier to go to Hershey first and then Dorney seeing as you will be going west to east.?
