orlando 1-22-05 to 1-26-05

it started with ioa on 1-23 (sunday)
it was like 50 degrees that day and i was wearing pants, a jacket, and sandals...it was cold baby, but we cam prepared with panchos so i could ride one of my favorites, dudley do right and jurassic park
well as always my first ride of the day was the hulk, because its right tthere and we arrived around 10 (park opened at 9), and there was no line for a single ride in the park, but unfortunately at universal they dont let you do re-rides...anywways i got to ride in any seat i wanted on any coaster, the only thing that sucked is that it was cold and i had to take off my sandals for dr doom and DD, which was the coldest thing ever riding in the front seat of the ice dragon, 45 degrees, and no shoes....brrrrr!!!!

next day was BGT and this was less crowded than IOA, i actually got to reride in the front seat of Kumba (oh yes its true) as well as about any seat on any coaster (except scorpion casue i guess now they need 10 people for each ride and there werent enough)...i got to see an attempt at putting the top of sheikra on, but they lowered the piece down after 30 min to an hour of the piece just sitting at the top of the track
--- also this time i came prepared wearing shoes and two jackets, but it ended up being a bit warmer anyway
i had a lot of fun on gwazi that day (lion was open) and it was the only ride in the park with some crowd at all

i may put up the rest later, about my day at disney and some more info, but this is all i had time for

Sound like you had a great time. Besides the cold it would have been awsome since the park was so dead.

Kinda like the time i went to IOA & US the first week in Nov. The wait for every ride was about 10-15 min without the express pass.

I didn't have enough time to visit BGT but i plan to go back to florida for 2 weeks in 2007.

Then Expidition Everest & Shekira will had been open for a year and hopefully all the bugs worked out and shorter lines. Plus i'm going over Christmas in 07. I want to spend Christmas day & Disney.

There's usually no crowds this time of year at the Orlando parks, good time to come benceris. At BGT, theres never any line for Kumba, Montu, or Scorpion. What's sad is that there's usually a line for Python, the roughest coaster on Earth. I almost always reride Kumba, because that's in the back of the park, kind of set off away from everything. I've reridden the front seat before. Did you like Montu?

And Carowinds, that's some real planning you got going on.

Well i figured i would do one huge florida trip and do everything. I'll spend 1 day at Univerasal, 1 Day at IOA 1 day at BGT, 1 day at Sea World & 1 day at each 4 disney parks then 4 nights on the Disney Wonder. 13 days total including the 2 days of traveling. I will also spend at 2nd day at BGT if i don't do everything in one day.

yeah ive ridden it over 50 times in my lifetime so you could say that...haha, i go on it about 10 times every time i go

also i love riding python in the back seat.....there was no line, but i did do that 4 times, the drop is like 50 ft high but its the scariest drop in the park

if you go on a non busy day carowinds, you may wanna just get a hopper pass for disney parks, and then disney water parks another day...i also think theres like a 2 day or 3 day hopper, something like that which could also save you money

and you have a ton of fun with that trip, i envy you haha, and also if u get the time try wet n wild, its prolly the second best waterpark in orlando or the whole state of florida, got some crazy rides like the bombay and storm there

i almost forgot to say what i thought about disneys new stuff

stitchs great escape - i thought this was so gay and alien encounter was way better, it was corny and not scary, the effects were dumber (except when he bounces on your thing) and there were less effects

mission space - pretty cool ride, but way overhyped, great concept and it ended up being more fun the second time...i wasnt expecting it to also move you like a simulator i thought all you would do is take off

i know that test track isnt new, but it seemed better than i remembered although the ride was fairly overrated...this is the only time i have been to epcot when the line for it wasnt over an hour long so i didnt have to go in singles or waste a fastpass, also at the end of the night my twin, a friend, and i all got to go in our own cars, just us and noone else, man was this fun (not sarcastic), id do it again
