Costa Rica! Lots of thrills!

My wife and I just returned from a 9 day, glorious trip to Costa Rica. The areas that we focused on were the Arenal Lake / Monteverde areas (for the rainforest/cloud forest scene) and then onto the pacific ocean around Jaco Beach and Manuel Antonio areas. We did everything from nature walks to canopy tours (zip lining over the rainforest) to white water rafting to horseback riding, etc, etc, etc. When we decided to go to Costa Rica I had no idea on how to go about booking it. I found out that there aren’t any U.S. based travel agents that handled that kind of package. So I did a crazy amount of internet research and ended up booking this package through a Costa Rican based tour company. They handled everything from hotels to transportation to day excursions, etc. We were incredibly please with these people – very professional, affordable, service oriented.

If anybody who reads this would like me to try and answer questions – or if you’d like some contact information for the tour company that we used – please feel free to email me at e-mail deleted and I’ll do all I can to help you (if you simply respond to this post in this site there’s a good chance I won’t see it – my email is the best way to communitcate with me). My wife and I are actually making plans to move down there full time in the next few years. What a difference a vacation can make! Take care and pura vida! Scott

Both of your posts are about Costa Rica... you obviously need to see the South Park episode to see why it sucks;

Wow, care to explain more about your trip. Just saying what you did doesn't help. Give us a full blown review. Don't jsut ask for questions.

I think he works for the travel agency and that was an advertisment.

I think this is an advertisement. If he comes back and types an actual trip report, it's OK. If not, we'll delete it in a few days or let it slip down.

Well it's not in regular font, so maybe he does work for an agency, and just copy and pasted something. Advertisers are not allowed!

Seriously, give us a review of ziplining through the forest. That sounds like fun.

It looks very well as if it could be just copy and pasted from a prewritten text. It also seems kind of weird that we shouldn't respond here and should just e-mail him. I vote advertisment! lol
