I'm planning a trip to several parks and one is Geaugua Lake in early June.

Does anyone know of a good cheap hotel in the area?

I found a Microtel about 7 miles from the park but was wondering if there is anything closer that's any good?

if you go to the web site geaugualake.com it has all the hotels and things on it.i went there in 03 and it had a feeling like it wasnt a fun park cause of most of the people didnt look like they cared about other people.but i have seen it and its a heck of alot better now since cedar fair bought the park.

Wes, look for hotels in Streetsboro, they tend to be cheaper than most of the other area hotels. Streetsboro is about a 10-15 minute drive south of the park, so it's not that bad of a drive.
