| | | Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon? I'm going to disney and I get the choice between Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, which should I go to?
Only vote if you have been to both. If you have only been to one, post a review of that park.

| | | I have been to both. Go to BB its more "new" and has more to do and better slides... It also hsa a better bigger wavepool and a better lazy river. It also has the tallest waterslide in the US...

| | | I've been to both tones of times, last year we had annual passes to them, but they went out and were getting new ones. Anyway, even with Crush n' Gusher, I would say Blizzard Veach is a far better park. They have tons of slides, incredible theming, lots of rides, a huge lazy river (Is it the biggest in the world? It talkes 45 minutes to get around if you just sit on the tube.) There's lots to do here. Typhoon Lagoon is kinda msdiocre, the theming is good, but the rides suck. Best esample: the family raft. The one at Blizard beach is the world's longest one, and is said to be the best. The one at Typhoon Lagoon however, requires you to hull the family raft up a mountain, only to go on a 15 second ride that has no drops, and just oges in a circle, with almost no theming. TL does have the better single-person raft slides however (what are the names again, there's 2). TL also has the swim with the fish snorkal thingy, but if you can't snorkle, DO NOT attempt it. If you start choking in the middle of the pool, you're only allowed to move slowly, so you're slowing moving to the end choking on water. Not fun. The bad thing about both parks is if you get there when the gates open, you can ride everything before noon, and then your kinda bored. I have never ridden Summit Plummet (the 110 foot 60 MPH body slide, tallest and fastest in world). I almost went on, but when I was next in line I chickened out, the person in front of you drops out of sight when they go down. That's the only thing I won't ride, even though it is only 7 seconds. Anyways, in the long run, Blizzard Beach is much better with much better theming and rides, even if TL has Crush n' Gusher. Go to BB.
EDIT: Stinks I think your confused, TL has a much better waavepool, TL's is the one that shoots the huge waves every minute (and that's fun!). |

| | | Been to both several times, BB is more fun.
But TL is still pretty good - the wave pool is much better. |

| | | Ok, I guess I'm the only one who has voted for Typhoon Lagoon, but that's because that's the only one I've been too. But personally, I like TL's theming better. The lush tropical feel is good. The snow theme in definatly unique but I think the other one is better. They both are great though. BB probably has more thrill slides, but don't get me wrong, TL's are good too, especially now with Crush N' Gusher. But TL has a snorkal area where you can go snorkaling and they have sharks in there and stuff. It's cool.

| | | Dude, Typhoon is now my #1 because of the Crushin Gusher. Ive always loved its feel. Blizzard does have alot to do and its all great, but its so wide open. I like the more hidden feeling of Typhoon and I always felt it lacked a few more great attractions...but thats been erased now.
I think its a toss up for some people, but its pretty clear to me now. Typhoon!!!

| | | Typhoon Lagoon.
Reasons:
Whitecap Cove Wavepool...it's got the biggest and best waves ever, it's alot of fun just playing around in there. I was able to do complete flips in the waves.
Shark Reef...even if you cant snornkle go and do it; I can't snorkle and was fine. Just get a life jacket and breath like normal. The water doesn't go into your snorkle unless you dont know how to breathe (Montu_Man). And, if you do start to panic or get a litte scared, you can swim faster (they didnt mind with me), just dont use your legs (not allowed), use your arms.
Humanga Cowabunga...sure, it's not as big as Summit Plummit but still alot of fun
the Tube Slides (Keelhaul and Mayday Falls)...while, I didnt get to ride them on my recent visit, I've been on them before and they are a lot of fun.
Storm Slides...Not the best, but still alot of fun
Castaway Creek...Good way to relax at the park, plus has some cool caverns and such
Crush n Gusher...Go to TL just for these slides. All three slides are amazing, and alot of fun. Try to ride with someone else as you can get some good speed and airtime.
Plus, not to mention the great theme of the park, the walkways up the mountain for good photo ops, and great food.

| | | i have not been to either of them but i have heard good things about both. my brother just got back from a Florida trip and he went to BB. he loved it there. he said that the whole prk was great and he really liked Summit Plummet. Crush n' Gusher probably is an awesome slide though. it's a tossup and i personally have not been to either of them so i am not going to vote but i would go with BB just from heresay.
