| | | Ioa 3/21, Usf 3/22 I'm bored, so I'm gonna right a quick summary of yesterday at IOA. We got in at 10:30, parking wasn't too bad. First, we went to Hulk. Regular line was 70 minutes, so we went for Single Riders, but still waited 35 minutes, Had I known it was going to be that long, I would've skipped it. Next we went to Spiderman, which had a 60 minute line. We went in the singles line, and walked on. Weird we thoguh, we wait 35 minutes for hulk then walk onto Spiderman. And they weren't even loading Spiderman's cars full, the front row of the one I was in had only 2 people in it.
We passed through Toon Lagoon, the lines were long, there were no single rider lines, and it wasn't that hot outside. We kept walking until we were in front of JPRA. It was okay, we did singles, no line. It was funny to see all the tourists scream at anything. Then, we went to Dueling Dragons. The Baby Swap wasn't open for some reason, so I couldn't cut the line. I waited 15 minutes and went on Ice, since I hadn't been on that for a while. I was pleasently surprised, my previous rides on it did nothing for me, Ice was amazing this time, better then Fire by a long shot. I just love the barrel roll under fire and the near miss with the castle wall and how you come so close to the water and the ground.
Next we rode CITH 3 times, using our awesome ride technique which invo, ves screaming, this weird bowing thing, and making tourists mad. Good fun. We had to leave after that.IT was about 3:00. This trip wasn't as fun as others where our main goal was to act like idiots and run around the screaming, doing things to tourists, doing our awesome Britney Spears impressions, and so on. Today were planning on going to USF. |

| | | When I saw you arrived at 10:30am, I knew right there you were in trouble. It's spring break, and most people arrive the same time you did, at 11am. You could have done all the rides had you arrived at 8am and been waiting at the gate. They usually open early at 08:30am, and even have fireworks this week.
Screaming and bugging tourists isn't funny. I've been on Diaster Transport at CP and for some reason the kids think it's funny to scream thru the entire ride. It's not. But thanks for the crowd report. I'm surprised the lines are not longer.

| | | It wasn't crowded surprising. We didn't want to go for an entire day either. We have annual passes, and go all the time. It's not like were missing anything if we don't hit anything. I have been on everything there a ton of times. |

| | | So today, we first went to USF. It was crowded as heck, so we went to earthquake which had 10 minute wait. Yay. We headed around the lagoon, Jaws had an hour wait, MIB had an hour and 45 minute wait, BTTF was 55 minutes. So we went on Et, waited a half hour. Oh great fun. Then, we went and did single rider on Mummy, stand by was 45 minutes, we waited 30. Kicka*s ride, but the first Inhotep animatronic wasn't working, so we got the projection on the coffin, and one of the warrir mummies didn't pop up on the right in the treasure room. That was annoying. Since it was so crowded at USF, we went to IOA. It wasn't very crowded there at all. We headed to the Dragons, walked onto both of them, rode each once. I know in my first post I said I was pleasently surprised with Ice and I liked that one better, but I guess I had forgotten how good Fire is. After riding one after the other, I determined that Fire has an excellent sense of speed, and is never has a dull moment. Next, we did four rides on Flying Unicorn (we stayed on). Oh yes. Now this is where our IOA trip for today goes downhill. We went to Spiderman, stand by was an hour, and single rider was at least a half hour.Since we had just been on it and we didn't feel like waiting, we headed to Hulk to find a big surprise. There was a massive crowd at the entrance with a bunch of ops at the entrance explaining that they were having "technical difficulties". They were kicking people out of the line, even people on the second story near the station were going down the emergency stairs down to the entrance. It looked like a riot was going to break out or something, a lot of people were all ticked off (ok, maybe riot is a bit harsh, but a lot of people were ticked). So, we headed to Cat In The Hat. Same as it always was, except for once the doors that seperate the scences from one another were working. But, it still broke down, as usual. 6 Years and this ride is still having the most downtime of all the rides at IOA. At least it's not breaking down as much as it did wehn the park opened. Overall, this day was fun, but the USF crowds were annoying. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
