Any chance I have to get away from Disney property, I take it. The Disney songs and smiles on faces really sucks the life out of you after a while. Well I RCDBed the area to find some roller coasters to give me my fix. I found Old Town was about 5 mins from me, and Cypress Gardens was about a half hour, so wtf, let's go.
First I went to Old Town since it was close. It was not that hard to find it, I just had to look to the sky for the giant sky coaster. The park was busy. You can still tell even by the traffic that the last remains of Spring Break are holding on for these last few days. Well I searched for parking spot and had to find one all the way in the back. Lucky that is where WindStorm was located, yeah. I buy some tickets, but save Windstorm for last and go see the sights. Old Town really has a feel of a small park, crowded with small shops and bars. Halfway down the midway, I noticed a bull riding machine. A small child was on the mechanical bull, though the bull was barely moving and just going around in a circle. Everyone cheered him on. I continued on until I came to a haunted house. A guy was stationed outside of it to try to attract people in and also to scare girls in the area. It would of cost for money so I passed, (besides, I was scard for life after riding the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom when I was very little). On to the skycoaster. Whoa, this hooten nannie is big. Yet expensive. I would of gladly have stepped up to the plate, had I money, but alas, I just watched. I also stumbled upon the drag cars. Again I could not afford, but watched. They accelerated about the same speed I would expect I ride like this too. But I was sick of this watching and I hit up Windstorm.
WindStorm
This kind of funky, but that's the way I like 'em. I took the backrow along with a 8 year old kid from England with a Pepsi Max shirt on. I had a brief conversation with him on the lift, but suddenly we were off. We start into a curving drop and hit an air hill. Airtime was good, more than I expected. We continue on into a tall banked turn and we drop quickly and into an upward banking turn. Then comes the X. This diving drop and just banks into itself. Look at this picture, it's right after the mid brakes.

The thing is, this picture doesn't it do it justice to the way it really looks. Ohh and the mid brakes were off. Amazing ride followed up with some great laterals in the helices. This coaster was a major surprise. I enjoyed it more than Rock N' Roller Coaster, but not as much as Mummy. Still a great ride, for Zamperla is not to be underestimated.

Dragon Wagon
Any coaster within 5 miles of my living quarters, must be ridden, so after much personnal reasoning. Ahh but first I had to convince a small child to ride with me. Ohh small child, come out, come out, whereever you are. AH HA!! Found one. I convinced the kid I was scared to go on the ride by myself. Yeah I'm on. Well the kid starts shouting out
"Wagon! Wagon! Wagon!"
So I'm like
"DRAAAAAAGGGONNNNN"
And I say it in like an evil low tone voice. And the kid just starts freakin out. And we get off and he runs to his 13 year old sister crying and sister and she's yelling at me and I'm just shouting "You be QUIETTT!!, You be QUIET!!!, And get me a ****in banana cognac biayotch!!!"

Screw it all, Onto Cypress
Park was beautiful, blah, blah, blah, blah, flowers and fountains and all that crap were great. Now for the rides
Disk'o
Zamperla you genious sons of b___es you. This ride is better than Delirium. This is my favorite flat, second to only the zipper. The restraints work like this, you sit down in like a motorcycle chair, and then this restraint from underneath you, comes out of nowhere and hits your back and locks. This ride rocks fast and spins faster. I loved it. If only they could combine this with Chaos!!!

Flying Scoot Scoots
Wow if a flying scooter was owned by the military, this is what they would look like. All blue with individual seats and seatbelts, and a bar locking you in. Well people cheered after the stuff I did at Knoebels, but these are just impossible. I did my best to turn the things, but they you could turn the flap all you wanted and the car would not go up or down.

Swamp Thing
Zamperla, let's see what you got. Hmmm there's a station, but it really doesn't have a roof. Whatever, I go backrow. Climbing up the lift I'm enjoying myself, glad to be on a Zamperla, not knowing the SLC qualities that laid ahead. Umm let me just put it this way.
"What'd the fahv fingaz....sayt'tha face?"
"....What?"
[slap]
"I'm Swamp Thing, beeyotch!!"

Ooohhbuahbuah Rampage
It's just what you expect it to be, nothing more.

Raft Ride
Spinin and Twirlin. The ride was ok and kept you dry. The only good part was the double dip at the end. If you jump up in your seat on the second hill of the double dip you get some good airtime.

Fiesta Express
I really think I reached a new low with this one, just look at the picture.

Triple Hurricane
Ahh an ACE coaster classic, it's been a while. The line for the ride was longer than I expected, but no more than 15 minutes. The seating was assigned, but lucky enough I got the back row. The whole ride was a series of hills, and the airtime was perfect for a family coaster. Not a lot, but just enough to give you a good pop. Ohh and it was smooth, though I wish the drops were a little more sudden. But the laterals!!! Ahh they reminded me a little of the Coney Island Cyclone. They are barely banked and you go through them with a good amount of speed.

You can kind see here where it's hardly banked at all in the turns. Amazing ride, I rode it again front row and got some more family airtime going over the hills. This is my favorite family coaster by far.
