SFGADV yet again, getting better (7/18/05)

after a terrible first trip to the park, a mediocre second trip, my third trip was pretty good. of course it wont get great untill i ride kingda ka but it was still a good trip.

i got into the park at 4:45 after leaving my house at 2:30 and experiencing A LOT of traffic on the NJ turnpike. we first went straight to nitro and waited about 20 minutes for a great, middle row ride. then we headed over to the boardwalk and decided to ride the great american scream machine. i havent been on this thing for over two years and i wasnt sure what to expect, last i remember, it was fun but very rough. there were a few people waiting for the front row, the rest were empty so he got in the last row. it was actually better than i remember but still kind bumpy but not enough to ruin the ride. we got right back on for a second row ride to see if the front is any differant. it was less bumpy but i think i prefer the back back the speed is much better. then we waited one cycle for twister, that thing is a monster like always, it has a really good flipping mode or whatever its called.

we then walked through the goldem kingdom where we saw the highight of my day. we stopped by the tigers to watch for a few minutes and the white tiger and orange tiger were both in the same fenced in thing. the whte tiger walked up to the other one and lashed out on it. both of them were on their hind legs making LOUD roaring with their mouths wide open and they were slapping each other HARD with their front paws. and it was going on right in front of the glass. it was freaking crazy!

next we went to medusa for a quick 10 minute line in the middle row, nice ride. we then walked over to skull mountain for a last row ride which is always nice. and finally we went back to nitro for a 25 minute wait for another amazing ride. it was now around 8:15 and we left for wawa to get dinner and to go home.

3 1/2 hours, 7 rides, not a bad day. (i would have liked to get on the chiller but it was closed all day)
