Yesterday, after a week of vacation on the Leelenau Peninsula of Michigan, we went to MIA on our way back home.
MIA is an ok park IMO, that could be great if some effort would be put forth. So, first off, we get to the park and see the most wide open parking lot ever, and park fairly near the gate. We were not early either. We get inside the park and head for ST.
We get to it and see the line and think "Oh, a 15-20 minute wait". Then we saw the trains; they only had one running, and the other was sitting next to the track. It took 1 hour to get on ST, but I think it was deffinately worth it. Plenty of air on this. 10/10
Next we went to Wolverine Wildcat. This ride is good but nothing compared to ST. There wasn't much airtime on it, but it was still fun. 6.5/10
Then we met up with my mom and sister, and rode Zach's Zoomer. This was actually a pretty good ride for its size. I actully got some moments of brief airtime on it. 4.5/10
Next we split up again and went to Corkscrew. It's a corkscrew, not much else to say. 3/10
Then we had a bathroom break. Nice restrooms.
After that we went on Mad Mouse. This was ok. it gave some decent air, and the turns were more fun than they looked. 5/10
Next we went and rode some flats:
Falling Star 5/10 - my 1st
Trabant 2/10 - Not nearly as good as Schwabinchen was at CP
Thunderbolt 3.5/10 - not as good as Matterhorn at CP
Sea Dragon7.5/10 - better than Ocean Motion at CP
Then we finished off the day with another ride on ST. If my family wasn't so intent on leaving I would have ridden it many more times.
My biggest, and really only, problem with MIA was their horrible efficiency for their rides. ST needs to run both trains at all times. Why have two if your not going to use both when it's needed? WW needs another train to move things along. MM has too many; there's a bunch of stacking, and their not even using all the cars. I saw at least four extra cars not in use.

Questions:
Has that parking lot ever been filled?
Who owns the land next ot ST?
Are there any restaraunts inside the park?
Are they short on staff?
