| Any tips for Kings Island?
I should be going to Kings Island tomorrow but I am not familar at all with the park. Could someone please tell me what the 'must rides' are and where to start? And would it be possible to ride most everything worth riding on a Wednesday (weather calls for sunny and 96)? Thank you. |

I was there for my first time a week and a half ago. I was there on a Friday and saturday. On the Friday, most coasters were walk-ons. So being that tomorrow is a Wednesay, I think you should be able to do most everything there that you want to. You probably won't have time though to work in the waterpark with it though. If it's coasters and rides you're concerned about, most of the big stuff is at the front left, left middle and towards the back of the park. The kiddie section is in the front towards the right. I would say skip Son of Beast altogether. I found it horrible. Only do it if you really want it for your coaster count and are just that curious about it. Ride Flight of Fear during the day when it's hot. It will probably have one of the longer lines but it's nice to get out of the sun for a while. I'd say ride all the coasters there if you can since they're all fairly good rides. I just didn't find any of them to be overwhelmingly great. Try Beast at night since that's what everyone talks about. After Beast at night, try Drop Zone and Delirium, they're both in the front of the park and you can save those for last before you leave. If you only have time for one at night, I'd say do Delirium since while Drop Zone is one of the tallest if not the tallest, I didn't find it to have that much air on it compared to others. Racer was a great racing woodie, don't skip it. If you like Arrow loopers, Vortex is a must, I liked it a lot. Top Gun was a fun suspended coaster, although short but it probably won't have much of a line at all. It's also in the front of the park near Drop Zone and Delirium. So you could also save that for later in the day. I've only been there for the two day trip so I don't know the park very well and the crowds could vary greatly from my visit there. But I hope you have a good time. Get a night ride on Beast for me since I didn't get one when I was there.

Ride Son of Beast. If you're lucky, you'll break into hysterical laughter like me halfway through the ride.

Thanks. I think I will ride Son of Beast. If anything to just say I rode it. One last question: Does the park have item bins at the coasters, like Geauga Lake? If so, are there any coasters that don't have them? |

yes there is somewhere to put your stuff on all rides. CP needs to look at this instead of coaxing money out of people for lockers. A dollar per person to put your ***** in a locker adds up.

The coasters at Cedar Point that require you to buy a locker are the ones the have seperate loading/unloading stalls. So a "bin" system would be stupid to use. They would have to be constantly running back and forth with bins.
