well, i would recomend goin go ghostrider first, not only is it a better ride then Xcelarator but its at the very front of the park, but if you go on Xcelarator first i would jump on silver bullet on the way bak to the front, i havnt been on it myself (even if its my home park, i am a SFMM person also) but i assume it would be good. hope it helps!

(dont miss a ride on Peralious plunge!,... cosidering the weather weve had lately, and its my favorite ride there)

I suggest you hit GhostRider first because Xcelerator never has any long lines all day. And by long lines I mean anything above 20 minutes to half an hour. For a first timer - I suggest following this route based on how everyday queue waits, direction of patronization (to save walking back and forth), and how quickly lines fill up -

1. GhostRider
2. Silver Bullet
3. La Revolucion
4. Montezooma's Revenge
5. Jaguar!
6. Supreme Scream
7. Timber Mountain Log Ride
8. Boomerang
9. Xcelerator
10. Perilous Plunge
11. RipTide

And everything else, just add to the end or if it's along the way between any of those rides in that list/order, then go for it.
