| | | Halloween at Hershey Park Just a few questions. I'll be there on October 16th, is one day enough to do everything? Are all the rides open? How much money are we looking at-is it a fixed rate or do you pay per ride? Anything you consider a must do, something I can't miss? And lastly, how busy is it usually and is it worth it? Thanks.

| | | Hersheypark's webpage would be a good place to find answers for alot of these questions.
One day is enough to do everything that's open during the fall hours. One day is enough as long as you don't expect oodles of re-rides (and you may get them anyway). The park is just small enough to be a perfect one day park. Roller Soaker will be running dry (or not at all); flume rides and water rides will be closed.
During Halloween, they do an all-day wrist band or a pay per ride. Hershey is definetely worth it. It's one of the most fun parks around, you won't regret it.
Must rides: Storm Runner, Wildcat, Lightning Racer, Comet, Great Bear

| | | Hope you have fun. I look foward to returning to Hershey just for their Halloween event if it's worth it.
Can anyone tell me it's it's really worth the 8 hour drive next year for this event or is it kinda kiddie?

| | | I guess it's more kiddie themed than some other park Halloween events. But you still can't take away the fact that the park is empty and every coaster is open.

| | | Yes storm runner will be open during october at hershey..its not mostly kiddie, theres parts that are kiddie though. They did take out there main bigger halloween attraction though, haunted harvest will not be returning this year. I would still go just because of the woodies, great bear and storm runner.

| | | Thanks for all the help. Yea, Wildcat is my favorite woodie right behind Grizzly, so that is a must ride along with Storm Runner. Nice to hear that it will be empty.
