Ok- after only a mere 10 years off begging and nagging about going to Cedar Point, my parents decided to take our family there for vacation this year!

Mission accomplished!
We drove a total of 14 hours from Kansas City to Sandusky, and stopped in Joliet, IL about halfway through. When we arrived in Sandusky, we stayed at a campground conveniently named "Camp Sandusky". We stayed in these tiny, cramped little cabins that looked like something out of the smurfs but whatever. We arrived on a rainy Tuesday evening and headed for the park and got there around 5:30pm.
When I first saw the roller coaster skyline as we drove up I swear my pants got damp. It was unbelievable! We didn't have to pay for admission since we all got Worlds of Fun season passes and those work at all the other Cedar Fair locations (thank God). The park wasn't really that crowded since it had just rained which was a plus. On to the rides we rode that night:
Raptor- We rode this first, in the front seat of course. It was about a 20 or 30 minute wait. The only downside of this coaster was the ice cold rain water dripping on my head from the track above the queue line. I couldn't believe how intense this ride was, it never let up. The train just flew through the midcourse brakes and I was like oh sh!t this biotch ain't slowin down! I love the final helix it was crazy!
Disaster Transport- I loved this ride it reminded me of Space Mountain. The line was a little cramped and smelled like BO. We waited about 25 minutes for it. I always thought it was a bobsled coaster, not a flying turns coaster. I'd been on La Vibora at SFoT and DT was a lot smoother than that, which I greatly appreciated. The cheesy theming was a plus of course.
Space Spiral- Good view, pretty intense.
Gemini- When we got in line for this, they were racing the trains but of course when we get to the train they took the blue train off. I don't know why, the only reason I can think of is because it was late and there was pretty much no one in line. We (my sister and I) rode in the front seat. I underestimated this coaster a LOT. When we got to the top I was like "oh crap, this b!tch is tall". That first drop is pretty steep and I liked the headchoppers at the bottom. From there it's pretty fun until the final helix which was pretty intense.
Cedar Creek Mine Ride- A walk-on. We rode in the front. A fun little mine ride, but I was unimpressed. Maybe i've been spoiled with ThuNderaTion. Excuse me, but I thought mine trains went underground but whatever.
By then it was about 10 and we watched the laser light show. I'm not big fan of laser shows they don't do much for me. The only one i've ever been impressed by is the one that Celebration City puts on where they put pictures on water fountains with lasers which is cool.
The next day was a rainy Wednesday. We decided to wait til it stopped raining. We visited the marblehead lighthouse that morning, and went to the merry-go-round museum. Both were boring. I thought the carousel museum would be more interesting, but you do get a ride on their carousel. It stopped raining at about 12:30, and we got to the park around 1. We rode a bulk of the rides this day.
Mean Streak- Holy Sh!t what a piece of sh!t. Even rougher than Texas Giant. I was swearing throughout the entire thing! They need to put some WD-40 or something on the track because it was squeeking and squeelin through the entire ride.
Blue Streak- We must've waited about an hour or so for Blue Streak. It reminded me of Judge Roy Scream, except way more air and no headchoppers. I was out of my seat during the whole ride! They need to find a way to shade the line a little better.
Corkscrew- Rough! We rode (mistake) in the front seat. The bunny hop after the first drop was horrible and i'm pretty sure dislocated my shoulders. The tiny little loop snapped my neck, and the corkscrews fractured my skull. This is definetly just there for looks. It's a beautiful ride from the midway! Very photogenic.
Iron Dragon- My first suspended coaster, and I loved it! This was one of the most fun coasters i've ever ridden! I like how it weaved through the trees. The pretzel loop at over the lake was pretty awesome too. Not intense, but a hell of a good time!
Millenium Force- I'm scared to death of heights so we'll get that out in the open right now. We waited about an hour maybe more and sat in the middle since that's where i'm comfortable when i'm riding a huge coaster for the first time. I had heard things about the cable lift and how steep and fast it is, and hearing doesn't do it justice! It got up there soooo fast and seemed to speed up as we got higher! When we got to the top, all I could do was scream my head off and throw my hands up in the air! This is a great ride and seems to never loose speed! It feels like you're goin 90 through the whole coaster! The Intamin trains scare me since they're so open, it's hard to describe.
Top Thrill Dragster- I still can't believe I got on this. We waited about and hour and a half for it. By the time we got on it was about 10:30 or so. There weren't any breakdowns except until we got into the station and were about 4 trains away from being seated. They got it fixed in about 15 minutes or so. We were seated and rolled out to the launch track. The engine revved and the lights lit up and we were gone! The launch was freakin intense! The only launched coasters i'd been on before this are Rock 'n' rollercoaster and the Hulk so this was a surprise! When you hit the hill you get up the to the top before you can even respond to the launch! We crept over the crest of the hill (my ears popped!) and plunged down through the spiral. I was out of my seat all the way down which scared the hell outta me! A damn good ride if I do say so myself!
We did witness one rollback while in line for it. Everyone in the queue line was like oh sh!t they're gonna die! Haha, general public how silly. Every train from then on just barely made it over the hill and a bunch of ooo's and ahhh's could be heard from the queue line and the bleachers.
Thursday was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky. It was probably around 80 degrees or so. We went to the beach during the afternoon and wandered around there a bit. I'd never seen so many dead fish on one beach in my life, and i've been to beaches quite a bit which is weird since I live in Kansas but whatever.
Snake River Falls- Made monsoon at OoF look like jumping into a plastic swimming pool in your backyard. Got totally soaked, and CP got some more of my money from me buying one of their stupid crappy towels. I like how you float through water at the top of the lift unlike monsoon on a dry track. When I first saw the splash I couldn't believe how gargantuan it was. I'm deprived of these rides apparently. Went on it twice since I got soaked I decided hey what the hell.
Thunder Canyon- A pretty good river rapids ride, beat the hell out of fury of the nile. No where near as fun as Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom in Orlando though. I got soaked by the waterfalls several times.
White Water Landing- A mediocre log flume. Once again, it beats WoF's. I like how these boats sorta skipped along the water after the drop.
We went on Top Thrill Dragster again, this time in daylight and it was much better since I could look around and realize how high I was.
No, I did not ride Wicked Twister, Magnum, Wildcat, or any kiddie coasters.
I had a VERY good time at CP and it exceeded my expectations by far. I want to go back so bad and i'm sure i will!
Thank you for reading my trip report!
