| Skip it and go to Holiday World. Seriously. But if you want thrills, well I guess you can come here, but don't expect much. If you come here expecting not to have a good time, then you'll leave happy and will have had a good time. Chang--pretty sweet coaster actually. I rode Mantis about a week ago and still like Chang better. Mantis is more intense on the laterals, but Chang has that nice "swoopy" feeling that I like on stand-ups. A wee bit rough for a B&M, but it's still really good. My favorite seat would either be far-front-left or far-back-left. Font obviously for the visuals, back for the intensity, and the left because right before the second corkscrew, the left side of the train dips far left to the ground. This is def. a re-ride if the line isn't too bad. Greezed Lightnin'--This coaster isn't too bad for being 27-28ish years old. The launch can be intense, but I don't know what type of launch coasters you have been on, but it's still fun. The loop will pull quite a few G's if you're in the very front or back of the train (I have greyed out a few times in the front, but it's all good). The front spike will give awesome floater air if you are near the front. The return trip is nice as well. Going through the loop backwards is somethin' else if you have never done it before, but if you have, it's still fun. Going through the station, however, the train's speed is braked a lot, and the rear spike will give floater air if you're near the back of the train, but don't expect anything if you're in the front. This is by far the most re-ridable coaster in the park (most I've done in one day is 41 times) (111 times this season so far). Most of the time, depending on the day of course, you can just stay in the station and ride again with out having to go back through the line. Lola (pink Twisted Twin)-- When this was originally designed, it was supposed to deliver the "air factor" of the two sisters. Well...not really. You will get some air, but not much. Sit in the front if you want strong laterals, back if you want super ejector air over the first drop and some jack-hammering, and the middle for a quite enjoyable ride. You'll be lucky if both sisters are dueling the day you visit, but if they're not, you're not missing much, except another coaster. the dueling aspect of it isn't really impressive, but I'd rather have them dueling then only one of them running. Road Runner Express--This is a fun wild mouse. Last time I rode it(about two weeks ago) the breaks weren't even trimming it at all. This means stronger laterals, more air, and a better ride. Not much more to this coaster then that, except if the line is out into the cutbacks, this is a waste of your time, unless you really, really want the count. Roller Skater--For a Vekoma, this kiddie coaster isn't too bad at all. Actually, it can be fun. It's fairly smooth and has tons of twists and drops. If you don't mind the embarressment of riding a kiddie coaster, then I say go for a ride on this one. Stella (green Twisted Twin)--When this was originally designed, this was supposed to give the "lateral factor" of the two sisters. Once again, not really. For how to ride this, simply refer back to Lola. WARNING: The second main drop on Stella gives extreme ejector air/jack-hammering in the very back seat. I think I went up and down probably four times on this single drop. T2--Terror to the second power........oohhhh, this sounds evil. Not entirely. Although this coaster will kick your ass because it is that rough, it's not too bad (look at my signature). If you ride in the very back seat, the roughness is still there, but the back is the smoothest. The front seat will throw you in every direction while moving forward. It's hard to imagine moving backwards/left/right/even forward while moving forward. It's hard to explain, but if you want to a benchmark for roughness on a steel coaster, take a spin on T2. This is supposedly the roughest SLC Vekoma ever made, and probably is. But like I said, ride in the back, and it's okay. Thunder Run--This coaster is where it's at. If it weren't for this and Chang, SFKK would be just another carnival. Hell, take this out, and Chang would "just be another Beemer" and SFKK wouldn't be very appealing. What I'm trying to say is that this coaster is awesome. AWESOME. Sweet air/floater air/ejector air; it's all there. The laterals aren't too bad, and that's a good thing. My favorite seat in very back right seat. Try it out. The crew is slower than water running up hill though, so expect long lines any time. I would rate it higher than The Raven (please don't hurt me), but Legend has a slight edge to it that makes it batter than Thunder. All in all, this coaster is kick ass and I love it.
The flat rides: Hellivator is really the only one that sticks out in my mind as "woo-hoo". It breaks so close to the ground and I like that. Blizzard River isn't too bad, but if the line is past the steps leading up to the station, don't bother. I work that ride and know. You'll still have fun, but I personally wouldn't wait that long. I'd rather wait in a long line for Mile High Falls. This water ride is better than Blizzard, and typically has a shorter line than Blizzard.
Waterpark: I'm not too sure on this topic. I haven't "visited" it for years now, even though I work at the park. We got a new Proslide Tornado this year, I've been on Zinga at Holiday Wolrd, and personally, it isn't worth the time of putting on swimming trunks and waiting in line for it. But I'm not really a waterpark kind of guy. All I do know is that it is crowded always. This decreases the lines for coasters, so I won't be complaining, but that's my thoughts on the subject.
This is about all I know. Don't ask me on food or shows, because I don't really know about them, except their pizza is really good. That's all.
