For all you people who live by or near Sandusky, I just wanted to ask when schools in the area go back. I'm only making sure because I'm plannig on making a trip to the park either by Friday or sometime next week. Also, does anybody thing the park will be crowded the first week of September. I only ask because if I don't get to the park by the time I have to go back to school (August 29) I may just skip a day and go up there with my dad one day.

A lot of people go back next week I think. Well they either go back or they have band camp or something. Definately go back in two weeks though.

Yea I'm pretty sure they are heading back on wednesday. At least that is when my county starts and Sandusky isn't far away.

I might just end up taking a day off of school and take a trip up there for the day...Does anyone know what day they start closing the park early? Labor day right?

Park starts early closeing Aug 23rd.

Ok, the spells good news for me. When I went last year I think the park closed at 8 and thats when school went back. I guess the park won't be too crowded after the 23rd.

Well, bad news...I might not get to go this week unless I go Thursday or Friday. I might go on Monday though. Seeing how it's labor day, is it usually crowded on labor day? Just wanted to know because if it is I'm definitely trying to go this week.

From what I have herd its less crowdid on labor day..anybody else know?

For Labor Day i would say Yes that it would be quite crowded. I would try to go thur or fri if i were you.
