| | | Is SFWOA worth going to? I was thinking about going to SFWOA in either 2002 or 2003 summertime. Is SFWOA worth going to because alot of ppl have been telling me not to go there.I was thinking that I should definately go there since they will probably be getting a hypercoaster by morgan and a B&M dive machine!Possibly maybe even a 4D in 2003!Is it worth going to since they will probably be getting alot of new rides in 2002 or 2003? | | | That depends on what kind of coasters you have ridden then, and what kind of coasters SFWOA has.

1. new 200+ ft tall ride
2. X-Flight should be running with fewer proublems
3. better orginzied "worlds" ( this year they barley had time to get a walkway betwen the 2 worlds) |

| | | SFWoA has some of the most diverse coasters in the world! If you go to CP and SFWoA in one trip, think about the types of coasters you will get to experience: Cedar Point
Giga
Hyper
Stand Up
Inverted
Bobsled SFWoA
Floorless
Boomerang
Impulse
Flying
Good wooden

I do agree though on how the need better transportation between the 2 worlds. |

| | | SFWoA 2003 is a good choice, thats the year for the rumored signature ride. Whatever is it should be good. Having to take attention away from X-F and all the other rides. And signature rides are always worth the wait. |

| | | Six Flags Worlds of Adventure is pretty worth going to if you love roller coasters. It's awesome because it has Batman Knight Flight, Superman: Ultimate Escape, and X-Flight. Batman Knight Flight is the best roller coaster in the park! |

| | SFWOA problem.... I like both Six Flags WOA & Cedar Point. But I honestly have to say that Overall Cedar Point is the better park. Just the OVERALL experience (cleaner, friendlier,a lil good doggyeaper foods, etc....) Taller thrill rides & most IMPORTANTLY Cedar Point has a BETTER LAYOUT & can accomodate crowds better. Six Flags needs to do some serious widening of the walkways & maybe moving some rides. Cedar Point could be absolutely crowded & you could still find a place to rest, Try that @ SFWOA. Although now that they acquired the former Sea World maybe it might be a little better in the future. I hope......

| | | I have no doubt in my mind that SFWoA is on the "up and up". I mean...think of how pissed off CP was when Six Flags aquired Sea World! Think how many people went to Sea World, and think how many people went to SFO the year before they were combined...tons. They have the opportunity to be a MAJOR tourist destination! They have a better combination of rides and animals then any other park in the US. I know that we don't pay all that much attention to animals and fish, but a large portion of the general public does. This park is Six Flags opportunity to clean up their act in the publics' eye and impress people. You're getting two awesome parks in one! This park has a goal to top CP...no doubt about it. AND...they can. They have more undeveloped land, and space in general. This park is Six Flags new baby and I wouldn't doubt to see tons of attractions coming there in the next 5 years. |

| | | SFWoA has some nice coasters. It also has a higher proportion of either rude, disinterested, or downright lazy workers, more dirt and trash on the ground then I care to see, a poorly organized layout, and some terribly poor theming. If your sole desire is to ride coasters, then go. You'll have a blast. If, like me, you want more than just some good coasters out of a coaster trip, then don't go. You mayn't get a floorless or an X-Flight at Cedar Point or PKI, but you will get cleaner, better organized parks. |

| | | SFWOA is no where near the park that CP is, but it is worth visiting. I'd wait till 2003 to go though and give them a chance to really get the operation going. As others have said, the crowd control etc is terrible. Even if they don't add rides and just work on the layout, it would be worth waiting for. The lines take forever and the newer rides still only seem to run half the time. I just hope that the other posts are right and SF is out to proove something with this park. Otherwise, it seems to be heading down the same dark road as the other SF parks I've been to. |
