| | | Well, it's a Disney Park, which means that it's a park for families and not for coasterfreaks. It has only two coasters, Spacemountain and Indiana Jones and the Temple du Peril, a minetrain with a looping. For next year they will get the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster which will be similar to the one in Disneyworld.
If I were you, I would go to Parc Asterix, which is located near Paris too. It has a 7 inversions Multilooper coaster and a really good woodie. |

| | NJ? new jersey? wow thats a long way. i dont think its worth it,ive only been there once a few years ago (but its the same) only the awesome space monutain is any good (its much better than rock N rollercoaster) but apart form that theres not even a slpash monutain. Big thunder is not as good as the florida one (altough ive ridden the florida one many more times).space monutain is not boring like the florida/california ones its a proper twister looping coaster with heavy themeing like rnr,although the launch is very tame.
I would go for parc asterix it looks more fun.If you can spare 2 days go to alton towers better than all of them. |

| | As you are going as a family, I'd say to the Disney thing. Your Kids probably love Mickey & everyone, where if you visit Parc Astrix (sp?) they have to put up with a couple of small weird men. Disney may not have a great amount of coasters but it has plenty to do for the whole family. Last time I was in Paris I picked up detail for Parc Astrix & can say I doesn't look worth visiting, not as much to do as Disney & the park is not as big. Disney can also be reached by Metro (the french subway) I think it's about 80 francs but not sure we drove to Disney. While you are in Paris make sure you do the Eiffel Tower (It's a shame you didn't visit last year it was very pretty, it was lit up every hour at night just like it was when it got to 2000) a great place of lunch is to sit on the outside of the arc de triomph (sp?) & watch the traffic there is a underground walkway to get across the road, very funny.
The website for the disneyland paris park is www.disneylandparis.com
Where else are you going in Europe?

| | | I am 14 years old and recently went to Disneyland Paris with my family, (which consists of other teenagers) and we just absolutely loved Disneyland Paris. There are the thrill rides (Space Mountain, Indiana Jones) family rides (Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Peter Pan's Flight) and plenty of other attractions to fill a day's worth of activities.
As for worrying about missing Paris, unfortunately you might. We toured the city for 3 days and then spent the fourth at Disneyland. It's up to your judgement, but if you aren't the intense sight seeing family, it may not be worth it, but then again, if you want a retreat from the chaos of Paris, I'd say do it. Either way you will have fun. Good luck.

Disneyland has 4 rollercoasters with the 5th opening next year; Rock 'n Rollercoaster.
All rollercoasters @ DLP;
Space Mountain, an awesome lauched Vekoma Indoor Coaster
Indiana Jones; Le temple du Peril Backwards. A Backwards riding Intamin coaster with awesome theming.
Big Thunder Mountain; a great Vekoma mine train ride, very fast for a family ride and the trains dives trough a tunnels under the lake!
Casey Jr. A (I believe) Vekoma Coaster. Fun to ride.
When I visited Asterix a few weeks ago I was disappointed as Tonnere de Zeus didn't go give that much airtime at all. I like Colossos much better! Then they've got an old vekoma 7 looper which really is neckbraking! You really don't want to ride that one.
They also have a ziere kiddycoaster, which is fun but not wordt the trip.
