I had gotten free tickets from AOL and was not sure what to expect from this park. Having heard of horrible bathroom conditions, me and my friends entered the park armed with small packets of kleenex (which, btw, you won't need if you always go to the wildlife side to use the bathrooms.)
Anyway, for all of you out there that are wondering whether it is worth it to go to the park this year, listen to me and GO. You will have a great time.

If you want to know why, read on.
We parked on the wildlife side and waited patiently to enter. We got an all day locker over there for $10, which could have been a rip off if we hadn't gotten in free to begin with. We shoved all our stuff in the locker except cameras and other things that we would need and set off.
All the coasters would have a 15 minute wait or less all day except for x flight.
First ride of the day was Batman Night Flight. Jesus. That coaster is just so cool. It was a walk on to a 15 minute wait all day. We really fell in love with it, and they were even operating two trains at the beginning of the day. We rode Serial Thriller next, which was just as rough as reported and did not get a second ride later in the day. Ouch. If you do ride it, make sure you take your earrings out, one of my friends was goshdarned glad she did. I think the ride would be okay if it had fewer inversions and elements, I think that there is such a thing as too many, especially on a coaster that is this rough.
We kept on walking back into the park then and went on the big dipper. I have a huge bruise from getting thrown around on that thing. It's an awesome coaster with lots of airtime, but ooowwww, I got tossed into the lapbar HARD so many times. After that I continued begging my friends to go on X flight. They were scared. But hey we walked down to it anyway and after looking (and seeing the short drop) they decided to go. The wait was 3.5 hours (at least.) So we went and got a fastlane. Between 3-4 we could ride. We went back to wildlife to get food.
We had beef fajitas that were seriously the best food I've ever had in an amusement park to date (unless it was a sit down fancy restaurant inside.) Yum. Refreshed, we went to see the sharks, which was cool but.... well.... I think their tank is a little small. We also went on the bermuda triangle simulator which was okay, but was funny thanks to the guys sitting behind us. Back to the other side of the park to ride x-flight.
We used one fastlane so would have only had two stamps left (and 3 friends) so we were just going to ride once. But the girls behind us gave us theirs, which had one stamp on it. We rode X-flight (which is really undescribable, you'll have to go find out for yourself!) and the one thing we all said at the bottom of the stairs was "AGAIN!" so we did. Right away. Within 15 minutes of the first ride. It was awesome, so awesome. The second time I let go and all I can say is, wow. Do it. Now. Go.
Back into the main park, rode the Villian and Raging Wolf Bobs, loved both. We then went back to the other side and caught some animals and shows. We fed the batrays (and I caught a cute picture of one eating out of my hand) and the sea lions. We saw the dolphin show (which is just SOOOO cute) and went to all the exhibits. After that (and after one friend bought a stuffed monkey) we returned to the wild rides part to ride night flight again (WHEE!) and Villian. We posed for the picture on villian (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil) and bought the picture which turned out great. We went on Night Flight one more time before leaving.
Overall, I really fell in love with this park. Even though the Sea World part really needs a new coat of paint (looks faded) it really needs to be experienced. There is no need to wait for more rides, it's great now. I really like the feel of the park, and I love that B & M floorless (drool.) I've never had so much fun at a park in a single day, and look forward to going back every year. They definately have a lot of room to expand upon and a lot of potential, so I'm looking forward to the coming years.
A hyper coaster could pretty much complete the collection they have, but if a hyper is not going to be their signature ride, I can't imagine what would be. Probably a fourth dimension one, but whatever. If they kept what they have now and didn't build again I'd still want to go back. It was a lot of fun.
In some misc. notes, being a girl (and having gone with two other girls) we have some things to say. The free tampons and pads in the bathrooms were really cool. At least the bathrooms we were in were clean. The food was good, the rides clean, the pathways clean, and what theming is there was nice.
This park is worth going to. Don't ask if it's been ruined by six flags cause it hasn't. So GO.
