| | | Expect both parks to be really busy as its the school holidays, Blackpool always has smaller queues though as its more compact with a larger number of rides, AT will be mobbed.

| | | I'd love to visit Alton Towers one day. The park seems wicked cool! Anyway, how's AIR doing? Shouldn't the track pieces start arriving now since it's August? What's the color of the supports like? If someone has access to AIR's construction, can y'all post a pic? I just wanna know what the ride's gonna be like. I'm most looking forward to what the trains are gonna look like. |

| | The queues will probably be quite small at BPB, 20 mins max for PMBO and Valhalla, the rest should be short. The queues at AT aren't actually that bad, about 20 mins for Nemisis and 10 for oblivion, the rest shouldn't be that bad (though submission will be about 15 mins), the weather will be impossible to predict though. No track has yet arrived for AIR, the closure to nemisis was due to a structural fault which has now been mended. The only steel on the site is for the station (at least it's progress though). Go to http://air.rideas.co.uk/ for upto the date info and pics of the site. The speculation is that the track is bright green, as many leaflets have been posted around Alton with an artist's impressiojn, which can be found on that the site above as well. The track is green on it, but this may be wrong!

| | | Hmmm I rally honestly and truly don't mean to sound rude here, but there are only a few ways that we can say 20 mins+
ALTON TOWERS:
It's the school summer holidays here, so all of the kids are visiting, so expect queues that will be upto an hour from mid August, and if u visit on an English Bank Holiday, don't bother, u can some-times see queues of up2 2 hours. Plus, if u go in October (the fireworks spectacular) then that's a bit of a waste too. But if your visiting in the next 2 weeks (tops) then u will have no problems with queues.
Also, the construction of AIR is going ahead, so it's cramping the area as some of it is blocked off. But no, Nemesis will NOT be closed (unless it breaks down or summin, but that hasn't happened yet in the many years it's been there). And the track for Air does not arrive into the park until at LEAST November.
But have a good-un there! It's worth goin! Trust me!

Trust me! | Yes,its the summer holidays, but most people are off school for 6 weeks and so not everyone goes at the same time, the ques are reasonable provided, like you said you dont go on a weekend or a bank holiday or any other holiday.the children on thses holidays cant go bu themselves so weekdays are ok.
I think air track will arrive long before november it has to be running by end of january. |

| | Alton Towers Track for AIR has now started to arrive onsite. It is light blue in colour, and has dark green supports. The station is also being built, with what appears to be floors which drop, similar to that found on Nemesis.
Go to the http://air.rideas.co.uk to see pictures
