I'm Going to SDC on Monday, Aug. 6. Do any of you have any idea how big the crowds will be (especially for the water rides)? The children's festival is going on this time of the year, do you think that will affect the crowds?

I go to SDC every year in the winter for the Christmas festival, but this is the first time I'm going in summer. Thanks.

When I was in Branson a couple of weeks ago, I went on a Monday also, and lines really weren't that bad. The log ride has a pretty long line; but Buzzsaw Falls was only 15-20 minutes. My biggest advice is to ride Wildfire when the park opens; that's when lines are the shortest. ThuNderaTion was only running one train when I was there, and the line was 20 minutes. Fire in the Hole was 5-10 minutes all day.
