CP on Labor Day

How busy does it get? And how bad are the lines? Would it be any worse then a typical summer weekend? I am driving cross country and would like to make trip to Cedar Point over that weekend.

Hey, I have the exact same question. I was thinking about going to CP on labor day weekend. probably the 1st and 2nd, which are both friday and saturday. I wanted to know if the park would be busy or not, any feedback from anyone that might know would be very much appreciated.

I went Labor Day weekend two years ago and it was very crowded. Here are the wait times (from my old blog):

MF: 1/2 hour morning, 2 hours at night
TTD: 90 minutes
Magnum: 20 minutes
Raptor: 45 minutes
Mean Streak: 45 minutes (this one shocked me...I was used to no line)
Gemini: Walk-on
Wicked Twister: 1/2 Hour
Mantis: 1 hour
Blue Streak: 1 hour

If that is the only weekend you can go, go to the back of the park and make your way towards the front. Skyhawk should be a 1-2 cycle wait in the morning, which is always a treat.

Interesting, I may want to change my schedule a bit then, either that or go to the back of the park and start there.

Ok I have a similar question....except this time, I am wondering about regular weekends in September (after Labor Weekend). Anyone know about crowds on Saturday or Sunday in September?

Probably won't make it this September, but I am pondering next year. And does Soak City also operate then?
