| Trip Reports/Reviews Quote:
Per the above announcement in the forums I'd like to run this idea by people. Would people object to a rule that says that anything posted in this thread can be used at the editor’s discretion as a news item or reposted on the ride/park page in the database? It would be easier for us then asking each time an item that we’d like to post.

So all you are is saying, if we post any trip report or review in this thread, the editors can use it in any way on this site? Sounds good to me. I might be writing a trip review for SFFT tomorrow, but since something nothing new has come up at SFFT, there probably isn't a point to post it in the news section. But it would be cool. I like this idea, if i am getting it correct.

Sounds good to me. Sorry I missed the announcement to asking for them as news items or I would have just sent it there to. Not sure if you'll remember or not, but anything that I post up on the boards or my phote place is more than welcome to be used. Only thing I ask is for the byline credit.

Great thanks guys. All news item posts will get bylines and also will appear like you posted the news item.

I actually saw that announcement for this before I posted my Hades TR, but when I clicked the link for it, the template looked more confusing that it was worth, and I had spent so much time writing it, I did not feel like going back to edit it more to get out the rest of the mistakes I did not catch the first time and take out the "slang". Also, it was a real pain to have to split up the post so many times to even get it posted here and I did not want to do that again. If you want to use it or anything I post in the future, go ahead I guess.

I am fine with it. I just posted a TR on Kingda Ka. I like the idea and if it makes your job easier, then that's great.

I saw the annoucement and just noticed this thread. I'll be making two or possibly three trip reports this year. I might decide to do a Cedar Point trip report after I go later this month. It's a tradition for me to one every year when I go. Later in July, I'll be making my first trip to Mt. Olympus and then later my first trip to Paramount's King's Island. So I will definitely be doing a trip report for those. I might even goto one other park, possibly Holiday World or Indiana Beach. Those also would be my first time at either.

Are you allowed to post trip reports on carnivals and family entertainment centers you have visited?

Yes you can. It is our discretion if they go on the front page. Not many people visit FEC's on a regular basis. We like to see parks in how they improve from last year and so on. Fill it out, and if you see it on the front page then you made it.
