This trip looks really cool; I like the daily updates. It must have been pretty expensive though...

It wasn't too expensive considering we shared a lot of the costs among 6 people. On many days, there were 4 of us in a room when we found a hotel that allowed that. It really helped keep our overall costs down. I think the trip ended up being just under $5,000 per person for 3 weeks including airfare, food, and everything.

Which isn't too bad when you consider how much some weekend club trips cost!

That's one cool obstacle course, especially the monkey bars over the water! I guess that forces you to do them. I'm surprised the park let you on the rollercoaster track when the trains were running! How did you manage to persuade them to do that? I guess it's the equivalent of going in a cockpit in the aeroplane...!

That banana coaster seems really cool. Although I don't know Swedish, I'm thinking that "banan" sounds similar to "bahn" which means "train" in German!! Still, I prefer the name "Banana Coaster!!!"

Holy cow...thanks for showing us some awesome things from those parks that we never knew existed. I hate, hate it when sites show nothing but coasters! There is more to parks than coasters. Man, I'd love to get to Liseberg....the Banana coaster is just another ride to add to that park's list of classy rides. I never even knew they had it.

That Star Flyer is just insane! They would never have one of those in the US!

Is Elissa still going to therapy for her Orki experience? lol

I love the updates, keep em coming.

Oh and I was somewhere the other day and I thought I saw Elissa! It wasn't her of course, but that tells you how much I view your TR's. lol

That Stra Flyer does look like one freaky ride. I thought Bon Bon Land was just rediculous. What a weird park.

Finally, a park I know! I didn't live that far away from Heide Park when I studied in Germany for a year. I went there shortly after Colossos opened as they were advertising the hell out of it in the town I lived. It truly is the greatest wooden coaster I have ever been on and is my second favourite coaster ever (after Goliath at Magic Mountain).

I also love the bobsled ride at Heide Park...I must have gone on that about 10 times when I was there (I tried to ride the train representing each country). The ride is quite long and one of the most fun rides I've been on. It's just nice to sit back in the carriage and chill out.

It means something like "the track" or "the curcuit" and is the same as the german "Die bahn" (not train in other words).
