Six Flags Over Georgia 9/11

Note: This was written at SFOG,net, and a bunch of us made up. If you disregard the usernames it will sound right.

After having my nice extra hour of sleep, my brother and I got to the park abour 10 minutes before 11, not quite enough to hit up Scorcher, so instead we waited with the masses of people to head towards the back. On the way back, we saw Joseph in his orange hat that he mentioned he would be wearing, and he spotted me with my UGA Shirt on, and we got in line for Deja Vu.

It tested well, and we took our seats in 6A through 7B. The first part of the ride was normal until tower 2. Over the last couple of weeks it seems like the train was going up a little further up tower 2 than before, so when we went up a little far it seemed normal, but then we stopped......AWESOME!!!! After asking how far up the tower we were, I was told all the way up, as a crowd of people gathered around to look at us. At this point the people back in 8B were about to lose it, so we attemped to sing 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, but failed , and the 2 back behind were still going nuts. During this whole 10 minute deal, we just yelled to each other having a somewhat casual conversation, and then we were gently lowered. The two behind us wanted to get off so badly, but instead we were taken up again rather slowly . Again we made it to the top, and went through the rest of the ride normally, and got off.

Since we were in the back already, we decided to hit up Scream Machine and Superman, both with very short lines. Scream Machine we took towards the back, a nice smooth, tolerable woodie. Superman We walked right on to rows 2, 3, and 4. All the people on the right side of the train hit a plant right after the turn over the station, the same happened to me the week before.

Next we headed off towards Gotham City and took a look at Mindbender, but the line by Joseph's estimates was 45 minutes to an hour. This has become habit, as Mindbender was running only 1 train . We decided to skip it and head to Batman, and again 1 train, but we figured since we made the trip that we would wait. We ended up waiting in the back since it loads 3 rows at a time, still a sweet ride.

After our trip to Gotham we walked to the front and rode Scorcher and only waited 2 trains, not too bad for a day like today. We timed it quite well, because when we got back, the line had stretched to the switchbacks.

Now we all voted for lunch, and split up for 30 minutes. We went to the Plantation house, and while Brian and SPSUCoasterBoy ate I just drank water, as I wasn't too hungry.

At 2:40 we met up at Cyclone, and for some strange reason I decided to ride, a decision I would regret. Today it didn't jackhammer too badly (but still worse than Scream Machine), but through the turns the cars were thrashing back and forth, beating my legs against the lap bar, which they were already crammed in to.

Next we decided for Acrophobia, and as I tried to count it out, the formula changed again. For those who know my original formula double it and you have what I found today. We took good seats by the operators booth and took our only srop of the day.
N
ext we voted to take the Skybuckets to Deja Vu. While in line for tyhe Buckets, these 2 little kids behind me had such an interesting conversation that I almost died laughing. This is exactly what they said:
[b]Boy: 5 G forces can kill you
Girl: Yeah, they have magnets that they turn onn of they want you to feel G's
Boy: Scorcher mush have had the magnets on then[b]
I didn't bother to say anything, but it was rather intersting to listen to.

Finally we got to Deja Vu, and found a 30 minute wait, not terrible. We waited and were assigned
6A, 6B, and 7A. Two girls walked up to 7B and were unhappy that they would be apart, so we switched to 7B, my 2nd favorite seat .
TheGrayMan and his family had to leave, so we headed to the Ninja with SPSUCoasterBoy, and walked straight on (as usual), and rode in the back. Even compared to a few rows up, the back was just fine, not too rough at all.

Next we sat in the massage place for about 15 or 20 minutes and decided to take the train over to Acrophobia. On the way we saw Mindbender had no line, so we stayed on and completed the lap and headed towards Gotham. Right as we got there someone had puked on the train, but since we were so close to riding we decided to wait. During this time they actually pulled out the second train so they could get the ride back going, and we rode in the back.

Looking over Batman appeared to be running 2 trains as well, and sure enough we were gretted by walking right on the back row. When we got back there was nobody in the Q-bot line, and only 4 people lined up in row 6, but the op told us that we couldn't stay on....even though supervisors have traditionally not cared.
W
e were running out of time, so we headed over to Scorcher and took one last ride in row 7. By this point it was almost 7, and the 3 of us that remained left the park together.

It was a really goo day as a whole. I got to put a face to some peoples usernames, and took the best ride opn Deja Vu of my life. I'm sure I have probably made thousands of typos, but I'm tired, ready to fall asleep.

They put a second train on Batman? Thats nice, too bad it should have been there to start the day. I can't remember the last time that Batman was my longest wait.

Glad you did finally get a ride on Mind Bender. That line was brutal for such a fairly light day. I still don't see why they can run 2 when Tech buys out the park but only one on a regular day.

Nice TR

10 minutes stuck up there?

I would have been getting a little nervous myself. There's nothing that scares me worse than putting my life in the hands of a Vekoma. lol j/k

Man, I was stuck on Deja Vu a few years ago when all the power in the park went out....

I'm having a real tough time imagining the layout as it applies to the USA section...maybe you could help me DEJAVU4LIFE...

So, is the 90 degree turn to the left before the lift just going to go right out over the walkway?

Were you there at GT night at Six Flags? I doubt you saw me or if you'd remember, but if you did, I was the tall guy wearing the Ghostrider shirt.

Based on the video and markers I believe it makes the 90 degree turn to the left out of the station, then the lift.
