I'll be attending Scarowinds. Sadly thats about it this year. I plan to hit CP,PKD & Hershey for their halloween events next year.

This year i'll be spending most of my time working Scarowinds or going to a dozen haunted houses/trails.

I've been going to BGW's Howl-O-Scream every weekend (well, it's only been two weeks), hoping it gets better with time.

But I WANT to go to HHN.

Some friends have come into free tickets to PCW (and they're going to share), and then there is my seasons pass to SFDL.

That aside, my big trip is to visit a good friend in Vancouver to celebrate HalloweeN. Can't wait.

I have a 4 day weekend in October (15-18th), and I might go home so I can go to Halloween Horror Nights and/or Howl-O-Scream. But since I'm in Atlanta I'll definitely be going to SFOG Fright Fest some time during the month. It'll be my first time ever at FF, so for anyone who has gone in the past, how good is it? What houses should I make sure to visit?

I'll be going to Thorpe Parks Fright Nights, which are usually a good laugh. There isnt much else on offer for us Brits sadly, especially now that Alton Towers have cancelled their halloween event.

Check the tickets before you go. FrightFest is a seperate thing, free passes and season passes aren't going to work. Unless you have a 2006 season pass, you have to pay to get in.

Anyways, I'm going to CP's Halloweekends next Saturday and possibly going to PCW's FrightFest.

I've attended 4 nights of Howl-O-Screams so far...I work the one at BGW. I'm Jack of the Lanterns at BGW. Photo Op after each "Jack Is Back" show but the last show near closing.

I plan on going to Dorney Park for a final time this season in October; after all, I have a season pass and don't plan on renewing it for next season.

I hope to go to Hersheypark again this season, since I only went once and it's my favorite park overall.

It looks like I won't be making it to Six Flags Great Adventure this year
But a seaon pass for next year will be in the works, depending on how good this new caoster looks!

I'll most likely be going to the Haunted Graveyward at Lake Compounce and Fright Fest at Six Flags New England.

Fright Fest really isn't that great. The park pretends that it is very scary etc., but then they only have 10-20 employees in costume for the whole park, and this was on a Saturday in late October (one of the busiest times for the park). Deja Vu is usually not open (despite the advertisements of Deja Voodoo) and the park is completely packed. If you want a real Fright Fest experience, I'd recommend going on a Friday (the best, as the park is open late into the night) or maybe Saturday in early October. After the 2nd week, the crowds are unbearable.

I'm going to Fright Fest and maybe Scarowinds.

Ya, thats why I have never been to Fright Fest before, cause I heard they really don't do much. Instead I have been going to the Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce which is really awesome. It takes 45 minutes to walk through the whole thing and they deck the park itself out pretty well. But some freinds want to go to Fright Fest so I figure I'll go up there and see what they got, plus I wouldn't mind riding Superman again, lol.

Legoland Windsor 23ed, Thorpe Park 24th and Chessington World of Adventures on the 25th of October. Possibly Alton Towers later in the week, we'll see. :/ And Maybe Blackpool for 5th Nov fireworkds...

Wooooah, my head's spinning already. More than 3 parks in a few days, as i'll be doing smaller funfairs down on the south coaster of England that week also. Yays.

Edit: Parks over here play creepy music, leave the park open late, often have firework displays and are coated in Halloween decorations. But i love the whole 12 hours of park opening at Thorpe...

The American parks surley open later for the halloween period? Right?

Isn't that enough to keep you guys happy. :P Enough to keep me delighted. Ooo, and i love the cold weather too. Brrr!
