Halloween Horror Nights XV

Me and vekomahangnbang went to HHN 15 last Wednesday. Thursday and Friday were hurricane days, and so we have had the last two days off, allowing us to go to HHN without worrying about school the next day.

Right after school on Wednesday, we went over to USF for some quick rides on Mummy and MIB. After riding those a few times, we went over to IOA to catch a few rides and so vekoma could redeem his ticket. I can't remember what we rode, except for one front row ride on Hulk and one ride on Dr. Doom for me (vekoma was afraid, so he didn't ride). After this, IOA was closing in preparation for HHN, so we left and got Pizza at Citywalk.

After my friend got caught by security for doing mischeivous acts. we met up with one more person and entered the park. Apparently, the scare-actors (rhymes with characters) don't come out until it is very dark, as there weren't many out on the streets. We did mess with the ones out on the street, including dancing, asking them stupid questions, saying things like "Hey Sexy", and just being generally annoying.

First, we entered Marvel Island. Imagine a bunch of bikers from hell coming out and taking over, and you got yourself something that isn't appropriate for little children. There were lots of guys riding around on themed choppers, with what were pretty much strippers up on these platforms with rims and chains around them. Yeah...

The haunted house on this island was Demon Cantina. This was very
well themed, and looked like a real bar. It did make you jump a few times. There's lots of blood all over the place, with people jumping out and banging stuff every few seconds. My favorite part was when you entered the dark, gory bathroom. A person is sitting on a stall and keeps jumping up and running at you. Overall, I give this house an 8/10.

Still early in the night, we moved through Toon Lagoon, which had nothing going on yet. We did see two scareactors, and told them idiotic things like "Hey, there's blood on your shirt". We then entered the one haunted house towards the end of Toon Lagoon, The Skool. Again, this was very well themed, but the actual scareing part could have been better. The "kids" basically just banged things together to make loud noises and followed you around. Overall, I give it a 7/10.

More will come later...

Good times... Those strippers must have been tired by the end of the 6 hours unless they switched out. Also, I did Dr. Doom by the end of the night so you can't say I was scared then.

Marvel Island was the best scare zone there was in the park. I was kind of dissapionted by the lack of chainsaw people, but the cool biker dudes and the stippers showing off their butts made up for it.

Scare-actors are changed out every 45 minutes, so those poor girls don't have to gyrate all night.
