I am planning of getting to Vegas in 2007 (a bit early I know, but am wanting as much info as possible when I go to the travel agents early next year).

My plan is to go to Las Vegas for 5 days, get in all the coasters and sights I can there (I know I won't get them all). Then fly over to somewhere in the Anahiem (or however you spell it) area so I can do Disney, Universal, see how the rich people live and at some point get to Magic Mountain.

Is there any tips on how to do this, my other plan is, Vegas for 5 days, drive to Magic Mountain (via Buffalo Bill's) and then drive to Anahiem. As I am a fussy driver and get bored easily, anybody know the time it would take me to drive between them?

Also, does anybody know the weather conditions in October - any hurricanes or anything?
