i'd been begging to go there all summer. finnaly my mom agreed to take me as my birthday preasent. the 12 hour drive was bad but definatly worth it. we arrived at 10pm so i would have to wait till the next day to ride all the rides. i couldnt stop thinking about how cool it was going to be so in turn i got 4 hours of sleep. i was up and ready a full 3 hours before the park opened so i could get there early before a line formed. we finnaly left our hotel and slowely drove to the park. it was really wierd, it went from small town to a peninsula filled with towwering coaster in 1 turn. as we approched i saw a rather large line of cars, but i didnt really care because i was actualy there. finnaly i was able to get into the park but i noticed something very unusual. all other parks i had preveously been to have been clean for the most part, but this place looked filthy. upon further investigatoin i found out the place was covered with mayflies. apperantly we visited during the wron week because all of the mayfly eggs in lake earie hatched overnight while we were there. despite that, i headed strait for milenium force. it was so amazing and there was only a 2 minute wait. i rode it twice in a row, but decided to move on to something else because the line had grown to 30 minutes, BIG MISTAKE! i rode almost everything in the park but unfortunately didnt get to ride TTD because it broke down soon after i got there. from what i heard i geuss i was on a "quiet day, and only 45,000 were there", at least thats what i overheard from an employee. well as the day winded down i became tired quickly for 2 reasons, CP is a big place, and i only had 4 hours of sleep. well i managed to make it through the day although i did fall asleap in the line for magnum. the park was about to close so i decided to get 1 last ride on Milenium force. as i got in th 2 1/2 hour line i started to feel sick from some food i ate earlier. i decided it would eventualy go away so i stood it out. when i got to the front of the line i was feeling really sick, but wanted to ride anyway. no way on earth that was gonna happen. as i was stepping in the car, front seat i might add, the chicken and chocolate mouse i ate earlier started to come up. i dashed for the exit and blew chunks everywhere. i tried to re-enter but they wouldnt let me. when we left our car was covered in may flies. and even when driving 50 mph back to the hotel almost all were still there. in the morning we unfortunately had to leave because we didnt have the money to stay another day. coming home we got stuck in standstill traffic for 2 hours on a 101 degree day wich really sucked. an ambulance car by ours was suck to so i decided to go over and ask what was going on. he told me there was a shooting and the murderer was running in between and hiding under cars. that got me really freaked out knowing a killer was on the loose and could be sitting under our car. well 2 hours later they caught him and we were able to get outa there. we then stopped at a white castle to calm down and rest. ive wanted to eat at one ever since i saw harold and kumar, but the movie was wrong. the food was awful, and greasy. finaly 12 hours later i was back in my own room. i didnt know what to think of the whole trip. on one hand i finaly got to go to cedar point and ride all of there legendary coasters, but on the other hand i missed a final ride on milenium force, was in the presance of a killer and ate some nasty food. it was good and bad. i just hope if i ever go again i fly.

^^Don't feel too bad about MF. I was at Cedar Point in May of this year for one night, a whole day, and another morning (Wednesday from 6 pm till Friday at noon..then off to PKI!); MF snapped its cable within an hour of me arriving, and remained closed (and stuck on the lift) the rest of my trip. I did not get a single ride on MF. I did get to ride TTD twice, though, and that was more important to me.

This trip did remind me of my first family trip to SFGadv (also my last family trip there).

Thats a far drive, from omaha.

And about the White castle, I like it, but the one near me is just awful. maby you just ate at one of the bad ones.

This is almost the same story I have for when I went to CP. I went on the dead week, rode everything, and had to leave back to LI. White Castle is okay somtimes it depends were you get it from.
