I got to go to SFMW on the last day of Spring Break. I was hoping to go earlier in the year, but I didnt.

*note I go to SFMW a few times every year*

My friend and I woke up at 6 in the morning (three hour drive). got ready to drive to SFMW with my dad, sister, step sister and her friend. I was excited to start my coaster season. hah.

We get to SMFW a little after they opend (around 10:15)

and I saw GL in the parking lot :'(


Anyway. First things first.. We headed for Medusa. My friend Hunter and I rode it about 15 times then went off to ride kong


Medusa is Hawt!


We had to ride kong just for the heck of it.. stupid lines too we only rode once.. in the back seet.


ehhhh...


Then after kong Hunter and I went off to ride deathrang.. ahem *boomerang*
grrr. we rode it like 5 times...

BoOmErANg! ehh we all know what a headbanger this ride is..

so Off to Voodoo.. its way to tame..

dissapointing ride..

We then rode Monkey Business(teacups), and Thrilla Gorilla
after withstanding Thrilla Gorilla and monkey, we rode Zamperla's Beautiful Hamerhead shark. good ride! (I had pics put my camera disowend them )
so After ridding hammerhead like 10 times we went to watch the end of some ski show.. which was kindo of cool.

back to the coasters! we rode V2 about 10 times its not as good as it used to be It's still pretty fun though.


ahh.. beautiful

I think V2 is ugly now, but whatever. It's still fun

now off to Roar.. which had a short line, but long wait.. grr.


Roar sucks.. No airtime.. even in the BACK seat (which we rode in)
its just turns.. and turns..

Me on boomerang (hunter had his finger in my face..?) the wind from the coasters makes my hair funky!

ahh so after riding boomerang a total of 8 times in one day, we headed for the splash boats.. Hunter and I were the only ones on the ride..


We got a little wet


to dry off we rode cobra.. we werent that wet by that time.

We then rode the raft ride.. I don't remember the name...
But we got soaked by water guns and old people! ahhhh
we rode medusa to dry off!!


overall the weather was nice, and most of the rides were open

V2 does look pretty strange now, Its kinda funny how SF built it expecting no one to notice it didnt meet the height restrictions.

When was the last time Zonga operated? I was there in 2004 and it ran all 3 days I was there, and it really was a headbanger. V2 never operated though

VISIT GIG'S GADGET REVIEW IN THE MEDIA DISCUSSION.

V2 looks mad crazy... I figure going all the way through the roll in front would be pretty neat. Medusa looks like it could be one of the best floorless coasters, the sea serpant looks mad crazy.

I guess the Roar here in the east is better. The one at SFA has good air on all the drops pretty much in back, even some in the front.

I really like the V2 at SFMW. Can't say it's better than the other version, but I wouldn't say it's worse either.

Haven't been on Roar at SFA, but I really like SFMW's version of it. It's not meant as an airtime machine, and is all about the twists, turns, and lats, though it does have a few small spots of air on it. Can't say I've had a bad ride on SFMW's version yet, and had a bunch of very good ones. But not everyone likes that type of ride. *shrug* oh well.
