| | | La Ronde Tips It's possible that my family and I will be going to La Ronde in Montreal in late July. Is there anything I should know about the park before I go (besides riding Goliath, of course )! Thanks! |

| | | I usually try to go to LaRonde once a year.
There's not many tips to give though, it's a normal amusement park. If you're staying in the city it might be better, and cheaper, to take the subway to the park.
Also, if you've never had a poutine, be sure to get one while in the park or somewhere in the city.

| | | Don't ride Cobra, since it will be a really painful ride. But be sure to get a lot of rides on Goliath, Vampire, and Monstre. |

| | | Cobra isnt really that painful. Everytime I go I'm able to ride it like 5 times in a row because of no line. It's one of only a few Intamin Stand-up coasters and is a pretty fun ride.
Also, if you like taking pictures, be sure to ride the monorail. You can get some nice shots of Vampire from it.
I havent been to LaRonde in about 2-3yrs now, but if it's still there the Nintendo building is a nice place to cool down and relax while playing some video games.

| | | There may be one train operation on most coasters except Goliath, which I think blows. That happened on this year's Fathers Day when I went. Cobra is ridable; I think doing the front is the best bet though. If you're really caught up in getting credits make sure you do the Dragon indoor dark coaster next to the ferris wheel. The monorail was fun to do and yes, it does give good pics of Vampire.

| | | Do the La Ronde employees understand English? I only know a little French, and don't want to look like an idiot.

| | | From what I remember, some of them understand basic english.
All the signs are posted in both languages though, so as long as you read the signs and follow the rules you'll be ok.
