| Pavilion and Family Kingdom
So today (monday) a few freidns and I were in Myrtle Beach to pick up a friend at the airport. So i decided that we should go to the Pavilion for its farewell season. Well we got there around 3 and got wristbands and rode the Hurricane which lived up to its name! And then a few other rides, and then the hurricane again. So after the pavilion a friend and I decided to walk to the beach and walk down to Family Kingdom which is about a 15 - 20 minute walk on the beach and that was very nice. Well we were almost there and the rain hit HARD. But it only lasted for about 5 minutes so we walked into Family Kingdom and got passes to ride Swamp Fox which I had NEVER ridden until today. It was very fun. It wasn't super intense but it had nice speed and deccent airtime and the view from the lift is worth it in itself. After that ride we walked back to the Pavilion for a few more rides beforee heading on out. I had no complaints about either park. The lines were all walk ons and the staff were nice at both parks. It seems to me the the Pavilion is nicer than Family Kingdom and Pavilion offers a more balanced ride collection while Family Kingdom is geared more towards the smaller kids with a few big rides thrown in. Overall GREAT trip.
