Wink Six Flags Over Georgia

So I'm just going to get straight to the rides. Not the little in between stuff (I'll do that for Kennywood). Heres the jist, two days, get there before opening between each and hopefully let your fellow coaster enthusiast SFKK GUY become a very happy camper. Well let me tell ya, on these two days atleast (a monday and wednesday) you indeed got one!

So of course, the running of the bulls, after the parade me and my friend ran to Goliath. Brushing past the week ones we hopped in the front seat, the first train, and frist ride of the day. How sweet is that? Sorry Apollo's Chariot, but you've been creamed. This coaster really is amazing, and let luck be the devil, we swooped right over The Scorcher as it's first train went throughout it's own distinct course. The helix even offered some great headchoppers, and those trim brakes right after...doesn't effect it one bit! So much floating airtime. So to thank Goliath over that course of two days we rode it a nice three more times. Twice in the back, and once again in the second.

Off to batman and mindbender. This was my first batman, and although being a little jerky in the front (where else would I ride it?) It was awesome. The g's you pull, just incredible, and I loved walking through Gotham park and the sewers, I wish SFKK had something like that.

Mindbender was also great, I thought we were almost stuck when I first rode it because it's so slow at the top of the lift hill. It's great how they tinted the water green. We rode mindbender nearly ten times over those two days, you see me and my friend like to play this fun game where you look at the ride op as you're going out of the station and scream as loud as a little girl. Then you turn to the people behind you (or in front of you) and scream, scream, scream, scream throughout the whole ride. Simply fun. Six Flags needs to stop cheating us though...because it's definitly two loops NOT three.

Hey whadya know...Deja Vu isn't open! I actually made myself ignore Deja Vu's hype on the trip up here just because I knew it would more then likely be shut down. Good thing two because it never was.

Ninja, wasn't so bad. Loved the paint job, no if you could only paint away those head knockers. Wonder what it would be like with lap bears like on the FOF coasters. Is this possible? Well I say make it possible.

We went to SUPAman before GASM, and boy was that a relief (you'll see in a second) because SUF was simply amazing. My first flying, and no matter what the dissing that was portrayed (it's boring, layout sucks) when you're on it, that doesn't matter. It looks so slow when watching, but hotdamn, that pretzel loop, simply intense! And the swooping turns, and zero-g roll. It's all good. Well atleast good enough to get 7 more rides from us. It became my second favorite coaster in the park.

GASM = PAIN. We sat in the middle, and at ever bottom of every hill it felt like my rids, and heart were lunging into my lap. I've never felt so much pain. No joke. I can't remember SOB being this bad. When I got off It hurt just to breath, everytime my lungs expanded it felt like my ribcage was prodding out beneath my skin. I literally have never felt like that before, and I'm not even pregnant or anything.

Monster plantation, was actually awesome. But I'm pretty damn sure LSD was involved with the making.

Freefall. We rode it three times in a role without getting off, and whadya know, when we peaked out third time, we never dropped. Just sat there. The guy finally came up after ten minutes, out of breath, and told us we were stuck. Oh really!?!?! Who could've forseen that? He was shocked to see we weren't scared, and honestly I wasn't, just enjoying the view, I could see Deja Vu from there...pleasently NOT WORKING. Finally, fifteen minutes later we dropped. Laughing, and dizzy.

Off to Scorcher. Which was great. We rode it four times over the course of out trip. Much prefer Chang but still, it performs some dizzying twists. We would ride it caustiously though, because damn is it a biyatch on your legs. Way to short though.

Then the Georgia Cyclone. Which proved to be one of my favorites of the park. We rode it tons of times, randomly waving to people staring at us from the parking lot, and screaming obnoxiously loud as we passed people walking down the exit ramp. They gave us weird looks. But that's to be expected. Once the lady from behind us must've hit a bump and her cellphone flew up and onto my lap as we hit the brake run. She thanked me and I just laughed, explaining how lucky it was just for her to have it land there instead of on the track.

Minetrain...well lets not discuss that.

Acrophobia...my groin says not to discuss that either.

We went in Fearman's Manor much to the dismay of my friend, but the corny haunted house buff in my body tingled as I lead the group.

Overall, Over Georgia was great. We went on great days, with walk ons on every ride. I rode in the front on every single coaster open, (theres no other way to ride SUF is there, well except the back) and just had a ball. They really have something special with Goliath, and I would go out at night from the hotel room and just stare at it's helix from down the street.Although many of the ride ops held conversations over the people they were attending to, most of the time they were efficient, although not helpful. Besides a few particularily salty bites, Over Georgia did leave me with a good taste in my mouth and heres a few awards I would like to hand out...

Goliath, best place in show: Thank you thank you, I guess my airtime and humoungous...hills leave you pleased. I'm much obliged.

Scorcher, painful ecstasy: Who cares if you're legs hurt, ride me again and again and again, you just can't get enough of me.

Mindbender, a screaming good time: Hey who were those two obnoxious people in the back screaming at the people below them on the brake run?

Superman Ultimate Flight, blowing past it's horrible reputation: Yup I'm good, I'm good. Oh, hey ride ops, someone dropped a quarter, I called it, bout to go get a massage on one of those wheelbarrows.

Yeah, you were probably in car 2, row 3, which is one of the worst seats on the coaster for GASM. The best seats are: 1-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-1, and 4-2. It's surprising that you thought Scrocher hurt your legs. Have you been on Mantis? That hurt my legs a little bit, but Scorcher doesn't hurt mine at all.
