| | | SFNE help Now that you're back, I need some help. I'm going to SFNE on August 6th, but I can't be there all day. I have four hours maximum. It's a Sunday. I want to be able to ride every coaster, and pick my row too. If I get the Flash Pass, will I be able to enter the ride into the station, or the exit? Also, are the stations monitored and kept relatively empty?
All help is appreciated, thanks.

Use this page to find the average wait times of each of the coasters. You can check the waits by month and by day of the week. The green section is where the wait most likely is, but the gray striped section is what the wait could be if it's a slow day.

| | lol.. If you want any tips and such you can just IM me.
Flashpass/qbot is only on a few things at SFNE and for the coasters most let out in the staton so you can pick your row.. But some tell you where to sit. (Thunderbolt.. BDK sometimes, MSP)

| | | Well it does say that August is the busiest month, but Sunday is the least busy day of the week. I'll get a Q-Bot, I think that'll be enough for a few hours. I just hoped there was something to do nearby, or in Springfield for my mom for those hours. I don't think she wants to come into the park with me. Anyone with more info on this please help. Thanks.

| | | OK i normally don't recommend Flash pass but in your case I'll make an exception. it will help you get on the ride faster so you can hit more. Since Sundays are slow most things should have little to no wait.
Superman Don't wait for the very front or vary back seat. take the middle seat just as good a ride but half to a third the wait. batman try for the back better forces. Thunderbolt pandemonium don't have bad seats. Try to get towards to the front of Mind Eraser. Cyclone it better towards the front. Try to make time and hit. Tomahawk, catapult, Time warp, Twister, and Nightwing. everything else is either common or pointless.
as for your mom. there are a number of local Museums. The Basketball hall of Fame, A local Zoo, Dr Souse Museum and a few others. i don't know of any malls. these attractions are in Springfield. |

The front and back on SRoS are two VERY different rides, and once you've ridden both of them, the middle seems pretty boring.
If you want hangtime coming over the top, a drop that seems impossibly steep, strong wind, and an overall more exhilerating experience, go for the front seat.
If you want more total airtime duration and more anticipation going up the lift, sit in the back. It's creepy not knowing when the drop's coming lol.
As for airtime, the front and back will give equally strong airtime on the camelbacks because they are parabolic (symmetrical). However, the back has longer lasting airtime, (or at least it seems so), and has it coming down the first drop, which is a very intense feeling.
The wait for the front can be like 15-20 extra minutes, so if you don't want to do that then go for the back. The wait for the back is usually 5 minutes or so. |

| | | I already know which seats I'm going to, the front and back. I wasn't asking, ^^. Also, ^, I have been on El Toro, so I know the Intamin airtime pretty well, but thanks. I will get a flash pass, reserve my ride, and go ride surrounding rides while I wait. Unless of course, the park is empty. Then it won't matter. But I did get a lot of help, now I think I have a good idea of my plan in the park, thanks all.
BTW, ^, the reason sitting in the back gives more airtime is because as you get pulled from level to downward, you feel airtime, and accelerate toward the ground behind the reast of the train. The front has a lesser feeling of air because it goes through the opposite motion; although it crests a hill, it slows down, so the air gets less intense as you get higher.
Where is the Dr. Seuss Museum? How far from SFNE?

| | | Well, I'm hoping my mom will be able to kill some time there, but it seems like that won't even take an hour. I think I might ask her to just come into the park with me. It seems like as long as I won't be waiting in lines, she'll have fun just watching me go on the rides. And, it is a park that we haven't been to before, so I'm sure she'll be mildly interested in what it's like.

| | | If you must get Fastlane, get gold. Just forget about the price and go for it, because with gold q-bot you will probably be able to ride every coaster at least once and maybe even visit Hurricane Harbor. Personally, I'd take Typhoon and Tornado over some of the coasters! *cough* Flashback *cough* |

| | | In four hours, I wouldn't be able to ride all the coasters? I think I would, if I only even have to flash pass like three or four of them. One thing though: What kind of ID do they accept to rent the pass? I know at GAdv they allow you to use a season pass, but do they allow you to rent a flash pass at SFNE with a season pass?

| | | ^What? I said my mom was taking me. She might come into the park, she might not. If she doesn't she'll drop me off. Then I'll need to get a flash pass without a drivers license. Will they accept just a season pass?

What I was referign to is the Midle seats in the Front and back cars. The rides are identical to the very back seat and Very front seat as far as the Sensation is. The waits for this seats are far less then for the very front or vary back. Tht 10-30 minutes deforent will give him 20 minutes to an Hour more to ride other attractions. |

| | I'm not sure I never get it. Flashpass web site
According it it you need a Photo id to rent it. But it mentions a season pass. So I'm not sure. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
