Holiday World and Indiana Beach

I'm just gonna touch on some of the rides for now. I'll post some more detail when I have some free time.

So after hitting the big parks in PA last year I descided it was IN's turn this year. Especially after hearing so many amazing reviews for The Voyage. So two weeks ago we went to Holiday World and Last week we Went to Indiana Beach.

Raven - Ok maybe I'm riding rides for a different type of thrill or something but this ride was a big let down for me. How it ever got rated so high is beyond me. Yeah it was good and all but everytime we hit the brakes I couldn't help but say "That's it?" I think if I rode it before I rode the Legend I would of liked it a little better, but still its just not that good compared to the other two big coasters in the park.

The Legend - Awesome ride. It was out first ride of the day, and it was a great wake up call. I had never looked at picture or anything of the Legend before and it just added to the excitement. One second we're diving into crazy tunnels then speeding past water slides haha. I had no idea where we were going. Very exciting.

Hoosier Hurricane - Not too much to say other than its a very smooth, and fun coaster. Other than that its not too exciting. Its very visually appealing coaster though. I'm not saying its a bad ride by any means, just not exciting.

Cornball Express - Awesome! Just plain awesome! Definatly a top 10 ride. The airtime is awesome in the back and its got just the right amount of laterals on the turns and going through the helix.

Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain - I like to call this ride the Voyage of kiddie coasters. For our first ride we were in the back car and facing backwards and due to the insanity I just couldn't stop laughing the whole ride. Its is seriously insane!!! The whole time I thought the ride was gonna fly off the tracks!!

The Voyage - I saved this for last for good reason. No other coaster remotely compares. I've worked at Cedar Point for 4 years now and have ridden Dragster, Magnum, and MF enough times to where they're boring yet the Voyage was still insanely thrilling. By far the best coaster I've ridden. From the moment you hit the first tunnel its just out of control. We rode once in the front, back and middle and every ride delivers insane thrills in different ways. I think the back is the best though. If for nothing else the airtime on the triple down. Best coaster ever!!!

^ First time I rode it, I thought I was going to come out of my seat on the tripple down! Insane air on that thing.

The Voyage is quite simply the best wood coaster ever built. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ride, except perhaps that with the force the coaster hits the brake run with, you wonder if they could have made the coaster even longer.......
