I got up yesterday at 5 am to drive down to GAdv for the El Toro video shoot.

I got there at 6:30 and wait for a security escort to take us into the parking lot. We parked right under Kingda Ka and walked in right near Kingda Ka. Sweet views of the ride.

We get to Toro and have to do a mock running of the bulls to the station. Pretty funny. I ended up in the 12th row for 3 rides. Couldn't hold our hands up for these rides. And the camera mount was the front.

Then I moved back a row and rode 6 more times. Rode with GAdvUpdates member Blazzin Matt. Cool kid. We had to put up bull horns and goofy stuff like that.


Then we got out and waited while they did the pre-morning checks. Watched the 2nd train put on, which was very odd. The Top wheels don't touch the transfer track. We board again and rode 3rd to last row. Rode with Cyclonic of GAdvUpdates.

Then ended up in the 3rd row twice. The front air is MUCH more violent than the back. Didn't notice that until I rode them back to back. Rode with Bubba Z of GAdvUpdates.

Then the GP came in and I rode Rolling Thunder by myself (no one else was on the train) and left. All in all, best trip I've ever had. The park looked like it was gonna get really crowded so I left very content.

You didn't even wanna run to ride Ka once? Nice, I think it's too late to see you on TV now though. What time do you think it will show? And why is it so late after the ride opened?
