Help with Hershey Park

I'm going to Hershey Park this Saturday. I am wondering what kind of crowds/lines to expect, a good order to hit up the rides, and all that good stuff.

I have only been to the park once, and that was for an all night student night type thing a couple years back. Sadly I only got on 3 coasters (Comet, Storm Runner, and one side of Lightning Racer). So basically getting on the other coasters is the big thing.

Get your credits, then ride Storm Runner and Sooperdooperlooper again, then ride Lightning Racer for the rest of the day.

Seriousley, though, I would get Sidewinder and Trailblazer out of the way (maybe ride Storm Runner once on the way to Trailblazer). Great Bear is only worth doing once, but Sooperdooperlooper is awesome. Ride Comet again while you're back in that area.

Hershey's Wild Mouse is incredible, second only to Herschell Mice. Wildcat is okay, but quite rough. And Lightning is the better side on Lightning Racer - in the back row (my opinion, of course).

Now I've only been there once, so there is probably better advice out there, but it should help.

Well, in my opinion, you should go to Great Bear, then Trailblazer, so you can avoid the lines, and pretty much anything else has relatively short lines. (I'm only basing this on when I go, in late June, so the lines may be different) IMO Great Bear is a great ride, it has that really forceful helix. Maybe I like it so much because I pay attention to all other aspects of a ride. Anyways, Trailblazer is pretty boring, but it's pretty much HP's attempt at a family coaster/ large kiddie coaster. Wild Mouse is the best I've ever been on, it's turns are just WILD, despite the ride being slightly rough. Wild Cat, is a great ride, despite its extreme roughness. Sooperdooperlooper is also a great ride, for some reason people don't like it... I don't get it. Sidewinder, the only Vekoma Boomerang I have been on so far, doesn't have a lot of head banging, but I rode in the middle, so try that car first. I haven't been on Rollersoaker, given the fact I just didn't feel like getting wet... So, as long as you get Great Bear and Trailblazer before the crowds kick in, I think you should be fine to pretty much do whatever you want during the day, assuming the crowds will be relatively light, and that you will have most of the day to do stuff.

^Oh, I knew I forgot something.
If you honestly don't feel a huge need and complete craving to get the credit, stay away from Roller Soaker. It's completely pointless and the line moves very slow.

So the lines outside of trailblazer, great bear, and roller soaker the lines aren't too bad?

After looking at a map of the park I have come up with this order...

-Great Bear
-Trail Blazer
-Storm Runner
-Sidewinder
-Roller Soaker
-Lightning Racer (both sides)
-Wild Mouse
-Wild Cat
-Comet

that covers all the coasters. Add in random eating, bathroom usage, occasional flat rides/other attractions and I think you have a desent day at an amusement park right there... hehe.

so by the end of the day I should have 7 new credits ad be up to 126 credits total.

i was at Hershey yesterday.

If you are getting there right when it opens, head for the back of the park. You can get rides on Lightning Racer, Wildcat, and Wildmouse within 30 mins max. Avoid rollersoaker if you can, I rode it for the credit/curiosity, only to wait 2+ hours. I would have rather rode a shopping cart down a hill instead.

Save Stormrunner/comet/great bear/sooperdooperlooper till 3-6pm ish, when the mass of the crowds have made it to the back of the park.
