Dollywood Late June Home Base

The rentals and some of my siblings are going to Pigeon Forge late June. I'm recovering in my savings from the Korea trip I was just on but I might be able to get off and join them on this week. They probably would just do Dollywood with me. I realized there's Ghost Town in the Sky as well. There's a Hard Rock and a couple of attractions I'd like to see in Gatlinsburg. My mother suggested I rent a car in TN if I wanted to do other parks in the week. What's too much to chew for the week there? I realized within/beyond/about 250 miles each way from Pigeon Forge there's Carowinds in Charlotte, SFOG in Atlanta, and Alabama Adventures in Birmingham. I have a Maxx Pass and SF Season pass. All regional parks would be first time visits. I have friends that live in NC and Atlanta that maybe I could visit/use in the future. There's always flights from Philly to those cities. Gas is expensive. Maybe I can pull off Alabama Adventures this time and just stick to the Dollywood and Ghost Town in the Sky during that week if I go. I guess I should try to find Tweetsie Railroad as well. Help, guidance and your perspective is appreciated. I probably should give TN more attention that week. I do not really care for waterparks. Thanks.

I would skip alabama adventures. Its the furthest out and not that great of a park. Between sfog and dollywood stop for a couple of hours at Lake winnie. Get in a few fast easy credits adn get back on the road!

You are aware that Tweetsie doesn't have any coasters at the present time - it's still a nice little park, however I don't want you to drive up here and then be disappointed.
