Six Flags Great Adventure Hotels

I was thinking about going to Great Adventure on August 23rd through Aug. 27th. I wanted to know if thre were any hotels nearby that offer package deals with park tickets. Also How are crowds on these dates and feel free to offer any other tips for the park.

I stayed at the Days Inn in Wrightstown, it was maybe 20minutes away. I know they have a package; however I bought a season’s pass as well as a parking pass since I was there for essentially 4 days. Assuming that you live relatively close to another 6Flags park, keep in mind that a Season Parking Pass is suppose to be good at all parks.

The Motel was decent, no complaints. Nothing to write home about, but I’d stay there again. There are a couple little restaurants to choose from if you want to save some money on park food after your “adventure”.

Wrightstown is a small town that's mostly hinged in existence to the military base next door. Your McDonald's is there, Ma and Pa pizza shops. Not a bad place and not far from the park. From Wrightstown take Rt. 545 to 537. The park is on 537 about 10 minutes away. 537 is the back road I 90% of the time take to SFGADV. Easy drive.

There is a hotel called Freehold Gardens about 20 minutes down 537. Its not that bad of a place, and then about 5 more minutes there is the Freehold Raceway Mall. You also got a Coldstone and Quiznos right next to that.

And no, the park does not have single rider lines.

Spent an afternoon there when I got rained out on my one day.
