Ohio/Pennsylvania Trip 7/9-7/14

Here's the layout for amusement parks:

7/9:

Kennywood

7/10:

Kings Island

7/11:

No amusement parks

7/12:

Cedar Point [HELL YES, FINALLY!]

7/13:

Geagua Lake

7/14:

No amusement parks

I'm probably going to go 8-10 hours to each one, so any expectations for coaster waits and what to go on and stuff. [I'll go on anything.] Please also give suggestions of some of the best rides at these parks.

Thanks!

At Kennywood get there at 10:30 when the gates open. Hit up Phantoms Revenge, Pittfall and Exterminator. Everything else shouldn't be that bad of a wait. The lines move relatively quickly.

Cedar Point: If you really need to sacrifice a coaster to get on the other ones it's: Wicked Twister out of the most recent ones. Since you are from the SFGADV general attendee area, you may want to skip Dragster unless you really enjoy Ka. Millenium Force, Raptor, Blue Streak, Mantis are sure fire must rides for myself. I mix it up and usually ride Gemini, Mean Streak, and Magnum as well (still trying to figure after at least 2 rides what is seen in Magnum).

At Kings Island savor the Beast, Vortex; meaning multiple rides.

At King's Island go straight to Firehawk. Flight of Fear is right next to it so hit it after since Firehawk will still all of it's attention. After that u may want to head to Italian Job since it's the next newest thing on the list. Make sure you ride Face Off somewhere in the middle, it can't be very smooth anymore...

And no Top Gun at KI or Skyhawk/maXair at CP? If I were you, I'd hit Wicked Twister and skip Mantis. Mantis just plain sucks. And now I can say that I don't just hate Stand-Ups because Scorcher at SFOG is awesome. Mantis just sucks terribly. Wicked Twister is fun. And please don't skip Dragster ride Dragster right before you leave. It is amazing in the front row at night.

Maverick is pretty much a given to ride and try since it's new. I wanted the credit so of course I did it, I just didnt' mention it.

The first trim of Mantis sucks but actually I enjoyed the push and rush of the front row of the coaster. Beware of the vibration going to your legs. In the second half it is shorter than Chang but I think it flows better. I would not miss Mantis unless you're going to make a return visit very soon.

^^Yes, it has really thinned down MF, Skyhawk, and TTD. Atleast when it opened in May.
